SEPTEMBER 19, 2001 : (ANTHRAX?) She [Susan Linhauer] met on 9/19/01 in NYC-about 90 minutes away from the Princeton mailbox. The "window" on the mailing (as I recall) was from 9/18 to 9/20/01. She also did some BS tale to the Wash Post about "acid on my steering wheel" and how it burned her hands and face. Mmmmmmmmm........ (How about contact dermatitis from making up a bomb? I just read something about her: it seems she's a bit on the nutty side. The government wanted to medicate her so they could elicit testimony from her,but the court said no.

When she was first arrested, I contacted the Amerithrax investigation team - which (predictably) didn't even know she existed.I politely pointed out who had her in custody and where,and they got all excited for 30 seconds or so.

When I couldn't produce proof she had ever been near Princeton (I didn't know it was my job to do this !)they sort of lost interest.

My question is "why did it take our government years to close up this terrorist operation? Is it our mission to let terrorists and their support systems thrive in our homeland?". Maybe we need a real warrior as President. The one we have isn't any where near aggressive enough to do the job. Have we gotten in our own way in order to be politically correct? Sacrificed our security, our lives to be politically appeasing to Democrats and to other societies? Are we imploding as a society?

I am not nearly as pessimistic. There's lots of money waiting to be sent to terrorists and the organizations that do it will keep springing up like weeds. It is both difficult and highly counterproductive to shut down all Islamic charities, better to wait until there are proven ties to terrorists, raid them and get the info on witting donors, receiving terrorists, etc.

Not sure why I should answer such a question but I don't ask people's religion before I buy at their store. Is it your opinion that I should not go to an international food market? I go to a local Mexican market too, should I boycott them because of illegal immigration problems? Sad....
