Cairo, Egypt - Islamists belonging to the militant group Ansar al-Sunna (Protectors of the faith) published a statement Monday condemning Pope Benedict XVI's remarks on Islam and Prophet Mohammed.
The group, in their angry internet statement, called the Pope 'the devil's courier' and said that his statements prove that 'their (Christians) war (against Muslims) is entirely in the name of the cross, a crusade.'
In his speech, the Catholic Pope had quoted a medieval text written by a 14th century Christian emperor who described some of Prophet Mohammed's teachings, elements of the Muslim faith, as 'evil and inhumane.'
The extremist group said that this and such statements are only meant to 'humiliate Muslims and offend their religion and Prophet.'
The statement also asked Muslims not to be silent in the face of the Pope's offence.
'We ask those who carry the responsibility of religion and those who do not accept being inferior to strike on the commanders of infidelity and ignorance,' read the statement.
'The statements not only denounce the prophetic nature of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, but also thus denounces all heavenly traditions that our Prophet had upheld and confirmed,' the group wrote.
Ansar al-Sunna is a radical Muslim group, reportedly with a presence in Germany and other European countries. It has often published statements in response to issues regarding Muslim affairs.
The same group had published a year ago condemnation of Danish cartoonists who depicted Mohammed in a manner deemed insulting by the Muslim World.

Islam is the only faith outside of Christianity to acknowledge the existence of Jesus yet it denies His divinity, His death, and His resurrection.
No one can criticize Mohammed and Islam because to do so is to commit the crime of blasphemy. "Islam is the true faith". Others are permitted to follow their false religions, for now (in non-muslim territories), but when global jihad is accomplished, only people of the book (Jews and Christians) will be permitted to reject Islam as long as they still acknowledge the superiority (legal as well as moral) of their muslim masters.

This whole situation is really getting absurd! If I wasn't so ticked off, I'd laugh.
Amazing, isn't it? It just blows my mind that many people in this country alone still think they are peaceful and it's only a few Muslims that are trouble.

Islam denies that Jesus was the son of God even though he taught us all to be children of God. In their denial they deny themselves his peace and grace by refusing to follow his way and seek peace. They have been seduced by a self professed demon possessed mass murdering heretic to worship the moon-god of war known by the name of Allah.
