What would happen if Madonna planned to impersonate Mohammad as part of her NBC special in November? Not that she plans to do so. Instead, she'll wear a fake crown of thorns and descend to the stage on a glitzy cross. A conservative advocacy group is outraged by Madonna's plan to mock the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. American Family Association says when Christian leaders complained about the stunt, "NBC ignored their concerns." The group quotes an NBC executive as saying that the network has viewed the scene that Madonna considers to be the highlight of her show, and NBC "didn't see it as being inappropriate." Donald E. Wildmon, AFA's founder and chairman, is urging his followers to take action. "Help us secure one million emails to NBC asking the network not to air the Madonna special," he wrote in an email. The group says NBC should show Christians the same respect it shows other religions.
She is dancing on the trapdoor of hell.
...
Still waiting.
I wish she would, and then follow-up with tour dates in Tehran, Riyadh, and Jeddah!
I have never understood what the appeal was of this person.
With the debut of the new Sorkin series last night and now this, it looks like NBC is trying to take the lead as the anti-Christian network!
Galatians 6:7-8
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Buddy Holly
Jim Croce
Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines and Cassie Gaines
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Yet, Madonna flies all over the world, every freakin' year.
I guess I should pray for her.
I watched the first ten minutes of that show last night and then turned it off and went to bed.
It will be first cross in history to have to be treated for an STD.
When will this be aired in November? I hope that it is BEFORE the elections. Remind the Christians of the many Libs who hate their religion, so that the Christians will be more motivated to defend their beliefs by voting for people who respect their beliefs.
There was Budda, (some indian god I don't remember), Moses, and Jesus Christ. They were all represented in a comical fashion.
Mencia will tell you that he is not afraid to offend ANYONE with his comedy, but to exclude Muhammad from this sketch, to me shows how much of a coward and hypocrite this guy really is.
Madonna fancies herself on the cutting edge of coolness, but she's simply a two-bit slut.
That's ten minutes more than I watched!
NBC and Madonna should be very thankful that Rosie ODonnell is totally wrong about Christians. Imagine if they aired something similar that was offensive to Muslims??
"I guess I should pray for her.
"
That'd be the Christian thing to do, for sure. Jesus advised praying for one's enemies.
Wow. Criticizing Christianity. What an act of courage.
