Kinky Friedman Closing Gap on Rick Perry
surveyusa.com ^

Posted on 09/19/2006 8:05:58 PM PDT by Lunatic Fringe

Perry and Strayhorn have regressed, Strayhorn by a considerable margin, while Bell (15 to 23) and Friedman (16 to 23) have moved up. Bell is finally consolidating Democratic support (from a pathetic 32 percent in April to 44% in July and 55% this time) and is getting more Independents (from 10% to 18%), while Friedman has picked up Republicans (from 10% to 23%) and more Indies (32% to 39%). Both Perry (65% to 56%) and Strayhorn (20% to 14%) have seen their GOP strength decline. Strayhorn has also seen her Democratic support wane, as she's dropped from 30% to 20%.

I hope he wins, but of course I don't live in Texas really don't care anyway. I just agree with him on a few things.

Perry is polling at 35%. He's in the danger zone. Kinky is at 23%.

Kinky has my vote.

Perry through his actions, has made this a FACT.

I am also voting for Sekula-Gibbs.

No way in HELL would I ever vote for the "Pro al Quaeda" party.

A lot of us in Texas haved turned against Governor Perry. Too bad. We don't want the Demorat to win, but Perry is pretty worthless.

Looks like my family's vote is going for Kinky F.

Apparently you don't know how much Perry and Strayhorn are "disliked" in Texas.

Howie, I'm sure not votin' for Perry. I was leaning toward Strayhorn (her son assured me she would repeal this idiotic tax they just imposed) but Kinky really impressed me on Neil Cavuto last week. I have one problem........his stance on drugs....so now I'm back in my thinkin' mode. I'd write Shelley in if she were in my district. Good luck.

Yep, and make Texas a laughing stock too.

BOTH parties need a wake-up call, and not just in TX.

Never been a big fan of Perry....BUT(monkey)..I will be voting for him again. I watched him act with cool, calm and reasoned leadership during Katrina and Rita! I became a fan of his ability to lead in a crisis. Kinky has too short an attention span to lead his own nose to his drink...lol. I will go look at his web page though...my liberal sister told me to....(rolling eyes)

It is beyond silly to vote for somebody like Ventura or Kinky who have absolutely no qualifications to be the Chief Executive of one of these United States in such serious times as these.

People who vote for personalities shouldn't be allowed to vote.

The Legislature isn't going to repeal that tax. They don't want to have to deal with it again. Further more, the only real other solution is an income tax. Do you want an income tax? If so, vote Strayhorn.

A state income tax would require the voters approving a constitutional amendment. Not likely.

Don't confuse them with facts.
