TV nudity 'worse than Bali bombings'

NDONESIAN TV shows that feature scantily dressed women are more dangerous than bombs, a militant Muslim cleric who served a jail term for links to the Bali bombings was quoted as saying today.
Abu Bakar Bashir said local television stations should offer more religious programs instead of showing half-naked women.
"If you ask which are more dangerous, half-naked women or the Bali bombs? The answer is of course women who bare their bodies," Bashir was quoted as saying by Antara news agency.

Wow, who knew? How many people have scantily clad women on TV killed versus the bombing?? I must have forgotten about THAT particular WMD (Woman of Mass Death!).
Maybe Abu Bakar Bashir needs to be back in prison with his "homies" - or he could just grow up!! His views on women and death are infantile, at best, but indicative of the Muslim mindset.

I know this will get me flamed, but there was a time in the West that we considered modesty a virtue to be cultivated, not mocked.
Of course, our reaction was as in "The Scarlet Letter" not setting off bombs.
