Although it hasn't gotten much coverage, there IS an effort to boycott CITGO. I'm already on board and am telling EVERYONE about it and why.
Perhaps some freeper will know it and post it.

CITGO NOW ON MY HITLIST
agreed big time....
Emailed to their embassy via its home page.
Presidente Chávez recent comments at the United Nations attacking my country and its leadership has caused me to reconsider this countries relationship with your country.
I will now work with my representatives at the State and Federal level to create and pass legislation to end all commercial ties, foreign aid and humanitarian efforts our two countries previously enjoyed.
There is no reason for any American to respect your country now, or in the future. I trust you are all very proud of yourselves and the leadership you elected.
Outstanding long term plan, Ivan. I wish we'd start working on it. Sure would fix a lot of problems.

This might be a good time for republicans to stand up and demand changes in our energy program.
I've tried to limit myself to buying gas from stations that get very little oil from the middle east. Now I want to boycott Citgo too.
So fellow Freepers...where shall I buy gas?

BTTT!!

Be American, boycott all gas!
