Maybe she can kill herself on stage; perhaps she can swim with a sting ray at the Miami Seaquarium.

"I must wonder if NBC would approve of Madonna’s mocking a major event in the life of Mohammed?”

Like she would ever do that. I do wish there was some Muslim equivalent to her 'Catholic girl gone bad schtick'. Like a former Islamic woman who tried it would last very long.

Or dress up her male dancers to look like Mohammed.

I think Madonna got exactly what she wanted out of this PR stunt.

Some will go to great lengths, to be worshipped.

I'm curious what the AFA said to make NBC waiver. I am an evangelical Christian but I don't want NBC to pull the scene because they were threatened with a lawsuit or government reprisal like with The Path To 9/11. That is clearly a violation of free speech. But if the AFA said they were going to call for a boycott of NBC, that is perfectly legit.

Funny isn't it. With Path, Conservatives claimed people would be able to seperate truth from fiction and the audience is informed. But with this stupid MAdonna stunt, Christianity will be harmed because she choose to mock it.

Won't the same audiences that can seperate the hay from the chaffe with The Path to 9/11 be able to determine that Madonna's soul is in jeopardy?

IMO, she has to resort to PR stunts because she sure doesn't have the looks or talent to get attention otherwise. She may have a nice figure, but that's about all I can say for her. I wouldn't attend her concert if someone gave me a ticket. She looks trashy, performs trashy, and seems to enjoy the trashy label or she would clean up her act.

That NBC even considered putting this on the air is disturbing!

You have it wrong. There is no equivalence. Two senators threatened the network with pulling their license.

Christians aren't doing quite the same thing.

And after all the groveling compliance the networks and print media has given screaming Islaofascits, they could at least do the same for Christians.

Good grief, what idiots we have for professionals these days.

Why not just use good taste, respect, and common sense, as a network?

Why all the drama?

It is not that difficult.

I think it would have been more fun just to ignore the woman. That would REALLY hurt her.
