If Slick Willie had actually fought terror, there would be no 'rediscovery' needed. :O)

Yup. Of course, Clinton let bin Laden go twice, so it's his fault that the GOP has him as an issue.

Nixon, Ford, and (pre-illness) Reagan were all reserved, dignified ex-Presidents. ....and so is GWHB.

I must admit to a certain level of astonishment.
Fearing that Karl Rove's "October Surprise" is the act of pulling bin Laden's corpse out of a freezer in Kazhakstan, where it's been since December 2001, we have Clinton, the French, the Pakistanis and the Saudis all sandbagging the October Surprise. They're trying to mitigate the domestic political impact.
But suppose that Rove has something else up his sleeve.

What a peculiar statement from this arrogant person!

William Jefferson Clinton is a coward. He knows it and everybody else in America with even a trace of common sense knows it.
That is his legacy.

To: jdm
You know, as much as Clinton is squealing like a stuck pig the last few days about Bin Laden -- it makes one wonder if maybe there isn't some truth to the Bin Laden has died rumors. Maybe this is Rove's October surprise and Clinton knows that it is coming.
