Newsmax is a marketing machine, they send out hundreds of thousands of email teases to their list to get people to click and come their site for the rest of the story.
I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with that, but NewsMax "hits" aren't really comparable to "hits" for Free Republic which does NOT market in any way...

Hotair is a site oriented towards video clips and associated with Michelle Malkin. It's got some good stuff, including "Rants" by people like Michelle. These have recently consisted of clip collections of the "religion of peace" exercising the "peace" on innocent people and asking the question "why isn't this being reported?" They cover a wide range of topics.
