I hope you are right but if it takes a few hundred thousand killed over 3200 we are fools.

We are civilized and have invaded two countries over the terror issue and 3000+ people.

Would take a bigger event or set of events to see us go Rambo on steroids IMO because we are really nice people.

I suggested to President Bush to attack Osama Bin Laden from osmosis in my sleep. Had he listened to my brain waves we'd be living in peace.

We have to listen more to what the terrorist want. You just have to put your neck on the line now and then.

Maybe our patience has grown with the population? Pearl Harbor was about 2403 dead and I think the population was about 125 million. So if AQ had gotten about 700 more maybe we would be as mad? Roman Rules should be the way. Most of the rest of the world is so jealous that they hate our guts anyway. Touch a citizen and your die. No quarter.

America went from the kind of war tactics where we hold a nation accountable and hit the nation as in WW2 to what we have done from Vietnam on which is to fight a limited war with all these useless PC military targets.

We should have blown more targets away globally inspire a healthy fear.

You never hear about Russian airlines getting taken and flown into buildings.

I'm sending you a longer answer via FreepMail.

I'm not sure why/how you got started on heat as a key limiting factor in the design of a gun type nuclear weapon, but you certainly found a good web source for info.

However, you need to put the answer in perspective. 2 watts per kilogram means a 6 kilogram mass is only generating 12 watts of heat. A suitcase nuke would not use much more plutonium than this. A typical 60 watt light bulb would generate a similar amount of heat. Yes, if the heat generated by a light bulb had nowhere to go, it would get pretty hot. But this is by no means a limiting design factor.

I certainly do not wish any of your loved ones dead. The simple fact I was alluding to is that in these large cities the "cut and run" liberals who don't seem to understand that we are at war and there are only historically two outcomes to war and have already forgotten 9/11 predominate. We face appeasers that make Chamderlain seem like a warmonger. Unfortunately, it appears to me that there will be a much greater loss of life ultimately if we appease the jihadis, so even if we suffer a loss that might otherwise be unthinkable, if it gets us off our ass and motivates the folks at home into really getting serious about winning this war in the end fewer will die. It is unfortunate that such an event would be what it takes.

Like all of you I thought 9/11 would do it but it seems it hasn't.

Berkeley, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Atlanta, New Orleans??????

Well of course there lots of big cities in the US. I just named the biggest where they could do the most damage with one hit.

I seem to recall that one of the documents seized from the cave in Afghanistan was a joke article from the "Journal of Irreproducible Results."

Sorry, wasn't trying to be critical of which cities you chose. Was just wondering about some of the most liberal.

They don't have the skills and knowledge to manufacture the boxcutters they used on 9/11 or the power drills they use for executions in Iraq. Camels to miniaturized nuclear weapons would be the greatest technological leap in the history of mankind. The Manhattan project; so we didn't notice something like THAT going on in the mountains of Afghanistan?

You're right about that.

But, suppose a more technologically advanced country manufactured and sold (or gave for free) suitcase nukes to Shrukrijumah? Say, Pakistan. Or North Korea. Or China. Or ex-Soviet mobsters.

(Not talking about the old Soviet suitcase nukes, allegedly buried on US soil. We know that those --if they ever existed-- would be inoperable now.)

The only thing that militates against the threat of new, workable suitcase nukes IMO is that we have no evidence such a device has been tested anywhere.

OTOH, maybe intelligence services are aware of evidence of suitcase nuke tests; but we the public haven't been told about it.

The thought of a attack on this scale is horrifying in the very least. i was unable to sleep well last night after reading this. While the Mir guy still is out there and has some credibilty, this Hugh Cort guy has NONE after reading into this a bit more.

1,And we must quickly catch Shukrijumah and his fellow terrorists in Canada before they blow up 7 to 10 American cities (just contact Dr. Paul Williams and myself and we will lead you to them).

then he goes and says on his website http://www.stopdoomsday.com/
Call America's Most Wanted TV Show at 1-800-CRIMETV and urge them to put Adnan G. El Shukrijumah and Amer El-Maati "The Next Mohammed Atta's" on America's Most Wanted TV Show so we can catch them before they bomb our cities!

He has a link to a site for pills and a 160 dollar keychain, ok it has a purpose with what he is talking about but i dont see too many Presidential canadiates advertising in a press release.

he has put out this press release a couple of times already, at the end he has, listen for a bin laden audiotape in the coming days, well thats like me saying its going to rain everyday and eventually one day ill be right.

Dr. Paul Williams is a bit fishy to me as well, he claims a sherrif in some town smuggled a nuke into the US. When the sheffif figured out what he was smuggling he got scared and called Williams instead of people like the FBI, Military ect ect ect. Williams then went and told the justice dept and they did nothing.

its a very scary and downright terrifying thought and people shouldnt be joking around about it. i can only hope and pray this dosent happen

and a couple of other things

Cort is also running for congress in Alabama

most of the links on his presidential site dont work

if Him and Willaims know where these guys are hiding, im sure the FBI ect would be more than willing to take a look into it

i read somewhere he studied terrorism for a year and a half, too me that dosent sound like a long time

he sounds like a person trying to get power and money by using fear. i find it funny that Williams, and the guy in charge of the iodine supply in texas both write on worldnews daily or whatever that site is called. its just my thoughts.

How is this man the GOP presidential candidate, when the primary isn't until '08?

Has anyone ever heard of this nut, before this thread?
