And he's got more than a little stress to work off.

You can say that again!

Understand--but I never hear Mr Clinton called "Mr", maybe "former President Bill Clinton".

Just asking for the seemingly impossible---equal treatment

Hi All-

Last I recall President Bush was riding a carbon-fiber TREK mountainbike. I don't know whether it is a full-suspension or hardtail model or the components he has selected. I'd guess a blend of Shimano and SRAM parts.

I seem to recall the model being a Trek Fuel variant and I can't put my finger on it. I don't believe it was a Specialized.

I think it's virtually certain the current president is in the best physical condition of any we've had in the past 100 years.

I recall seeing his BMI, or his bodyfat %, and it's really, really low. Verrrrry standout, for a man his age.

I COMPLETELY disagree with his stupid ideas about immigration, though.

Great athlete, total idiot...

I think her eyes might be reflecting the color of the reddish-brown brick background.

I guess I should've expressed that I'm partial to that brand, not that I was commenting on which bike he road.
And your tagline works well with it as well.
It could happen! /Tanuda

Presidential Cyclists Say Bush is a Maniac on the Mountain Bike!

...as opposed to Clinton is a "Maniac on Sunday morning talk shows!!!"

I'll take the former, thank you..

Hi nutmeg-

President Bush bicycling / mountainbiking thread that could be of interest to you. I'd love to see GWB purchase a cool Seven Axiom and get into roadriding as well!

No, president was never capitalized unless it referred to a particular president by name.

Well, if you're partial to the brand you could have at least picked a decent Specialized. :). The Rocky is entry level at best. Now the Stump Jumper FSR Carbon...now that's a bike.

Yes, I'm a bike bigot.

Hey, what can I say, you get what you can afford, not what you desire. Even for entry level it was pricey for my wallet when I was finished with it. It was the first year they made the frame out of Nitanium tubing. Tricked it out with high end Shimano cranks and derailers, speed shifters and a couple of other products which turned it into a pretty sweet ride, IMO.
Besides, I got tired of having to borrow one from friends to go riding.

Laura Ingraham has my permission to stop my traffic anytime!!

She was engaged to be married before the illness came up -- did she ever get hitched after all?

President George W.Bush, the commander and chief of the United States of America!

No, that's George W. Bush, commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the United States of America, and President of the United States of America.

That's the correct formulation.
