HOUSTON (Reuters) - A week after Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez called George W. Bush "the devil," convenience store chain 7-Eleven Inc. said on Wednesday it will stop selling gasoline from Venezuelan-controlled Citgo Petroleum Corp.
The Dallas, Texas-based company said in a statement it disapproved of Chavez' comments, but a spokeswoman insisted politics were not part of the decision to end its 20-year agreement with Houston-based Citgo, a position supported by Venezuelan and Citgo officials

Bad link
Good for them! I'm glad I can keep going there now. I just won't buy gas there until Citgo is gone.
Does anybody remember when Citgo was Cities Service? And they had regular separate gas stations, not gas pumps attached to a 7-11.
How did Cities Service / Citgo end up being owned by Hugo Chavez?
Good for them. Does anyone have a link to a site that shows from what country each oil company gets their oil imports?
Someone posted it a while back. It was very revealing.
OUTSTANDING!!!!!
There is a movement in Florida to remove Citgo from the turnpike stations. They have an exclusive contract. On the turnpike, you are trapped into refueling at Citgo, unless you want to get off, go through toll booths, find another station, go back, through toll booths, and get back on.
BOYCOTT CITGO!!!
This will be a cool topic to expose more (pro-socialist) sleeper freepers.
Good point. If they try to change their name to try to get away from the Citgo name, we at Free Republic should expose them if they do that.
Last week I had a question about the difference between Citgo AW 32 Hydraulic Oil, and Pacemaker 32, our local dealer said they were the same. I called a number for Citgo in Houston, a guy not a machine answered the phone and he explained the difference with out having to look it up. My point is there are good hardworking Americans employed by Citgo.
Time to start looking for a new job.
Here is same story, with more posts for your reading pleasure:

Thanks! Same but different.
Why because we use hydraulic oil in our machines? Please explain what you mean.
Employed by Citgo in America. Not a good career choice.
