That guy Tie Domi is hardly even a good hockey player Domi is (was?) a classless thug in the NHL. King of the cheap shot. I'm sorry that no one ever managed to knock all of his teeth out with a hockey stick at some point. Some might remember him for the elbow to the head that he gave to Scott Neidermeyer (of the NJ Devils) in the playoffs a few years back. One of the cheapest shots I've ever seen in a hockey game. He could have killed him.
Domi is a pig, and the lowest of the low as far as professional hockey players go.

Would this were so but, sadly in a technical sense, not quite.
Doubtless due to someone's nefarious influence peddling, Domi has been hired by TSN as a hockey analyst for the upcoming NHL season.
This is bound to go over real well with viewers since few, if any, likely associate the ape-like Domi with the sort of outstanding charm and/or intellect seemingly required for the job.
Plus, as was witnessed at the Toronto computer leasing scandal inquiry where Tie's probable perjury unfortunately went unpunished, he's nowhere near as skillful a liar as most would-be members of the media.

As a die-hard Islanders fan, I'm not exactly fond of the Leafs as a whole -- Darcy Tucker is tops on my own personal list of dispicable thugs, but Domi is up there too.

Islanders fan, eh? Then you must really dislike Dale Hunter for the cheap shot he gave to Pierre Turgeon back in the '93 playoffs - probably one of the cheapest cheap shots of all time.
The difference between Hunter and Domi, of course, is that Hunter could actually PLAY hockey when he wasn't busy dishing out cheap shots.

BTW & IMHO, the best thing that ever happened to Darcy career-wise was the departure from the Leafs of his lunatic brother-in-law Shane Corson.
