I have to tell a story.
Hubby went to the Wednesday night service. There are never many people there, but he usually knows them all.
He saw this young woman (about 30) whom he described as wearing a tank top and shorts -- as he put it -- even shorter than the ones you have on (referring to me, but I am going on a dog walk in 90 degree weather, not to church).
Anyway, after the service she came up to him and asked a favor. He said, okay, and she said, would you pray for marriage.
He said, are you getting married? And she said, 'no, but I'd like to.' and then she said 'all the men want to go to bed early' and began whining about finding a man who would respect her.
So, of course, he's thinking maybe if you didn't wear such short shorts.....
Anyway, we both thought it was kinda bizarre.
That is weird...
Where are these people's mothers??
Or more importantly FATHERS.........to tell them how they should NOT dress??
(It's still weird that this young woman talked about it in church......)

Altura, that's hysterical.
Well, the advice columnists keep telling people to join a church if they want to meet moral people. Guess they forgot to tell them to dress like a moral lady (or a gentlemanly guy) when they go to church meetings or services.
Altura, trust me I know what I'm talking about....there are a lot of people out there that do not connect the dots. AND, there are a lot of hidden motives. My first thought was - she was hitting on your husband.
(my husband was a pastor, and I KNOW the type)
