We have our own version of Bill Clinton/Al Gore who takes credit for everything and is never responsible if something goes bad! Brad Henry is a liberal trial lawyer who has done a good job of pretending to be moderate to conservative in his first term. What is scarey is how he will be in his second term when he is beholding to trial attorneys for his money.
BTW, gas stations now have Henry signs but the Dims are calling the GOP the Gas and Oil Party. Someone needs to call them on that as well!

I was wondering when someone would correct his "errors." Istook needs to run some ADS and address this!
BTW, we went to OKC this morning, and from Purcell all the way to OKC, we saw several Henry campaign signs, but guess how many Istook signs?
If you guessed "zero" you're right!

Our Women's Club had a briefing by the new Speaker of the OK House and he said it looks good. Think we are in good shape in the OK House and hopefully we can take the Senate.

Bingo! May even be worse!
My son heard the Istook radio commercial and said it sounded like we are a bunch of rednecks.

Istook is down 31 points but Rove is coming to town to try and raise money for Istook.
I don't think Istook is down that far -- probably more like 12-14 points. Internal polls are done by a pollster that only polls what the client wants to hear so they are unreliable.

Figures!
I can count on one hand the ones here in Norman except on gameday.
Even Largent had the big billboard on I-35.
Shell stations here in Norman have Henry and Meecham signs and wish someone would go after that since the Dims keep going after "big" oil.

Unnngh. Istook was a pretty good Senator; I guess he's just been in office so long, he forgot how to campaign!

He was in a House District that didn't require much campaigning -- probably the most Republican outside of Tulsa and may be more Republican than House District 1.

That's still not good. I want to see polls within the margin of error, assuming they're not push polls.
