E.D. has a new program an hour or two later now....a bit of a shakeup for the whole morning (west coast time = morning) lineup.
Gretchen Carlson was Miss America 1989, which I hadn't known.

I just can't stand watching her. Why didn't Fox give Karin or Allison that slot? I am totally pissed.

My pleasure I am a 24/7 watcher of Fox, if I am not here my Viking Kitty watches for me.I love that they are trying to make the network keep up with the tech. I was glad they got rid of Julian and added Kelly on the weekends. I like Gretchen with Steve and Brian. I love Steve and Brian, they crack me up.

I had a bad thought this morning. I mean, a mean thought.
Gretchen is too tight spinctered for F&F. Too intense. Too much the advocate attempting to make a difference.
Then I thought ....lighten up. Give her a chance. It will work out.
After all, Julian's gone. They don't keep unsuitables very long.

Allison and Kirin are the reasons I don't watch F&F on weekends anymore. Neither one of them impress me in the least.

this is the first F&F live thread i've seen and it's a great idea... i imagine bunches of us are waking up with F&F most morns...
Gretchen is doing a great job... my favorite E.D. sit-in is Loren Green... she's not as polished as she would be if she got more into shows than news delivery, but lots of potential there too, IMVHO
and I believe Loren is a former Miss Minnesota as well as a concert pianist...

Both would be good in as co-host, but I'd vote for Lauren Green. I kind of liked ED though. (She looked pretty good for a woman who had 40 odd kids or something).
