Once again, I tip my hat to you.
That is what I almost always do.
Mia T has the respect of a lot of Freepers
I count myself among them. She and I share the ABH idea.
thanx :)
Thanx. :) Oddly, I've never thought of myself as an archivist, but I suppose, on some level, I am.
What I wouldn't do to watch Mr. Clinton view your outstanding video collage. That finger of his would be flying around everywhere. Excellent work once again, Mia T. Many thanks and blessings to you.
thank you, faith. :)
Is there a Pulitzer for this kind of reporting? illustrating? brilliance???? There ought to be, and you should win!!!
I'm so glad you posted the following.
"The president seems to be able, the former president seems to be able to deny facts with impunity. Bin Laden is alive today because Mr. Clinton, Mr. Sandy Berger, and Mr. Richard Clarke refused to kill him. That's the bottom line. And every time he says what he said to Chris Wallace on Fox, he defames the CIA especially, and the men and women who risk their lives to give his administration repeated chances to kill bin Laden."
... [T]he fact of the matter is that the Bush Administration had one chance that they botched, and the Clinton Administration had eight to ten chances that they refused to try. At least at Tora Bora our forces were on the ground. We didn't push the point. But it's just, it's an incredible kind of situation for the American people over the weekend to hear their former president mislead them."

I happened to be watching CBS that morning and for the first time in my life, I wished CBS led in the ratings.
Mia, you should sell posters.

Late evening bump. Digital documentation of Clinton's pathologic lying and of his motives for same. The thesis, that only a Rhodes scholar, could have worked hard enough to have avoided killing Bin Laden. A presidency as an episode of Fawlty Towers. Clinton as the henpecked innkeepers spouse. Fumbling to interrupt one cabinet office after another, botching certain success, precisely as the moment of success, until at the end of the espisode, read:presidency, the inn has burned to the ground just as the wife is turning in the driveway..."dear, I'm aftraid something terrible has happen" sputters the happless husband, "you did at least, remember to pay the insurance bill last month didnt you, Basil?" says the disgusted wife. "Yes, well I was meaning to tell you about that too, dear..." avoiding at all costs disclosing that the whole mess was his own doing....
Sadly a reality stranger than fiction.
Mia....in the end 911 needs to be thrown back into the Senate....which refused to complete the House impeachment in 1998. Clearly, the will of the American people toward a man consumately incapable of completing the responsibilities of the office elected to, expressed in the House action, was thwarted, with lethal consequences. While it is certainly NOT possible to assume that Gore could have prevented such disaster, it is certain that the subsequent distractions that plagued WJC's attention to duty would have not been "excusable". Impeachment should have been completed by the Senate for the sake of the country. In failing to do so, the Senat is complicit in Slick Willy's dereliction.
