Latest Quinnipiac Survey Finds DeStefano 33 Points Behind Governor
Down by 33 points in a new poll with less than six weeks to go, Democratic gubernatorial challenger John DeStefano has to score heavily in the two upcoming debates and hope that Gov. M. Jodi Rell commits a major mistake in the final 39 days before the election, analysts said Thursday.
In the latest Quinnipiac University poll, released Thursday, DeStefano trails Rell by 63 percent to 30 percent among likely voters.

The Rell and DeStefano campaigns Thursday finalized details for two one-on-one debates, both to be televised live: Oct. 9 on WTNH-TV, Channel 8, and Oct. 18 on WVIT-TV, Channel 30.

Perhaps someone Danford can look at when he ones as a Indie in 08 and give Hillary the whitehouse.
(I think that what his book is setting up for.)
Spitzer is downright scary. I hope there is still free speech in NY after he is governor. In fact, maybe I shouldn't even be writing this or they will target me.... OK I am joking, sort of. But Spitzer and his ilk have shown they will trample on individual rights to further their agenda.
As far as Rell goes, she is no conservative but her opponent would be worse. Plus if she wins big it might be a modest boost for the 3 GOP members of Congress here who are in tough races.
Just like the Lieberman/Lamont race. Lieberman is will vote with the Dems the next 6 years most of the time. But Lamont will always vote with the Dems AND push radical new leg. so as to have his whole head and shoulders up and in Sen. Kenny-dee of Mashole-achusetts (my orig home state). Worse than a lesser of evils, but the only choice.
Had to side with Stalin in WWII, Iraq during the Iran Shaw thing, etc.
