Amazing, I'd have expected Alan Colmes to threaten to pull the plug on H&C forever before he'd allow such a thing to air....... John al-Murtha's propensity to corruption and love for America-hating propaganda should not allow us to ignore the fact that Nancy Pelosi wants only to flog Foley for the next 5 weeks.

"Murtha acts like a mob figure."

Wow, they need to play this over and over. And he thinks he is the most honest lawmaker in Washington. Wonder what else they have.

"Beckel is having a terrible time dancing around the issue of Foley being gay"

Beckel may be expecting his call girl problem to come up again. Somehow, he never had to face questions about that story. Though I would say alchol played a big role, after all, does he look like someone that can pay more than $600.00 an hour for a call girl.

That would be so sweet. But the Clintons manage to squirm out of everything.

Beckel reached out to his beltway friends to come to his aid and defense. He had been helpful in the past. They pulled him out of the sewer. Friendships were formed and cemented in ways so personal we will never know. It's an odd world, that beltway bubble.

So back in my college days I was President of the Young Democrats on my SC campus (yeah, I know). I with the assistance of the SC Democrats got some speakers to appear on campus during the election season (I think Daniels was running for Governer then, but Campbell won). However, as soon as John Jenrette showed up and they started tooting his horn (this was after he got busted)...I abadoned their little party...then within weeks, went Republican...what can I say...being in the Young Democrats isn't something that I am fond of remembering. But anyone who toots a felons horn at a political rally...I mean, come on...

They can't have it both ways because the Gay lobby doesn't like to be tied to gay pedophilia. They claim that gays aren't any more likely to pedophiles than heterosexuals.

"This is the same corrupt individual who gets his coke dealing son a job in government at the taxpayers' expense...enough already!"

First time I heard this. What else is out there?

The four letter words, the name of the Lord taken in vain over and over. I remember it everytime I hear him speak now. It just sticks. I can use some salty language (hammer meets thumb), but it has never become part of my general discours or way of speaking. This was like listening to mobsters.

Like?

Absolutely true. His son Murtha jr. got busted for cocaine dealing and I can't remember what else - spent time in prison and now works for the PA dept of natural resources.

It pays to snort and sell it...if daddy is Murtha sr.

full source:

"John Murtha (35), son of Representative John Murtha (D-PA), received a sentence of 11 to 23 months in jail after pleading guilty to selling a gram of cocaine to an informant. Murtha has been busted for two burglaries in 1980 and for armed robbery in 1985. Murtha was on parole at the time of his arrest and could have faced more than ten years in prison if he'd been prosecuted under federal guidelines. The judge hearing Murtha's case allowed him to temporarily withdraw a plea bargain and resubmit it at later date so he could enter the jail's school-release program and continue his education."

Thanks for the ping nutmeg! I'm not at home and have no TV. I watched the video via the web last week. What an arrogant, corrupt piece of work Murtha is.
