Attorney: Foley Was Molested as a Teen by a Clergyman
WASHINGTON — Former Rep. Mark Foley was molested between the ages 13 and 15 by a clergyman, his attorney Mark Roth told reporters late Tuesday.
Foley also wants Americans to know that he is a gay man but he never had sexual contact with a minor, Roth said. Foley was admitted on Saturday night to a mental health facility, where he will remain for at least 30 days.
Roth said Foley wanted to release the name and religious affiliation where his alleged molestation occurred, but was advised by civil counsel to delay naming names at this time. However, details of the clergyman, the timeframe and the situation will be released when counsel advises Foley to do so.

Michael Reagan was molested as a child. As far as I know he didn't take it out on boys as an adult.
He may well have been molested. Who knows. I don't give a damn at this point. It's up to him and his family to deal with his sickness. He'll get no sympathy here.
