Angelides on Effectiveness of his Anti-War Message (On FoxNews' Cavuto)
FoxNews ^ | Oct. 3, 2006 | CAvuto & Angelides

Posted on 10/03/2006 7:05:12 PM PDT by FairOpinion

ANGELIDES: Well, first of all, let me just say something. I believe that every citizen, every leader has an obligation to speak out and express their views on this war. And I — I believe this war is wrong. It’s harming our country. It’s harming California. It’s endangering our nation’s security.

Look, first of all, I believe this war is wrong. And I’m going to express my views as I believe...

And, sadly, it is really Arnold Schwarzenegger who has been the guy who has gone all over the country. He went to Ohio for George Bush. He has gone on a lot of national TV and radio shows, saying he thought the war was the right thing to do.

Another big difference between Arnold and Angelides.

Remember, if you are not actively voting FOR Arnold, but staying home or voting third party you ARE VOTING FOR Angelides. It's time for all good conservatives, Republicans, moderates to face reality, see the difference and get out and vote FOR Arnold and straight Republican ticket.

Same holds for all the other states -- we can't allow the Dems to take power. It will all depend on turnout.

The Angelides message = all Bush, all the time, with the Terminator = the Bush enabler. It isn't working.

Make ya a deal, Angelides. We'll pull out of Iraq tomorrow if you permit one of the following two destinations for the troops: Iran or the Mexico/US border. Pick one.

In San Francisco Campaign Stop, Angelides Critical of National Guard in Iraq

http://kcbs.com/pages/95417.php?contentType=4&contentId=215973

"Gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides used a San Francisco campaign stop today to continue pushing a plan to bring California National Guard troops home, if he is elected governor.

"The National Guard belongs here at home, securing California, protecting us against terrorist threats," Angelides said at an appearance where he was flanked by some local Democratic congressional members."

Couldn't find anything other than Republicans are evil and will steal your Social Security, and it's Bush's fault.

When will they learn?

People want ideas not rhetoric?

He thinks the war is wrong. He doesn't say why, but he thinks it's wrong. It's wrong because it's wrong, that's why. And he want the National Guard troops in California to protect him from terrorists. What does he think they are doing in Iraq, right now? What an eloquent moron.

Cavuot knows about as much of CA as I do of New York - I only know billions of my tax dollars go to those folks every year for them to vote in Hillary Clinton.

Keep all of them east of the Missippi.

This sounds to me like Angelides prefers that we fight al-Qaeda on the steets of LA and SF rather than in Iraq. Typical 'RAT thinking. An IED going off in front of a Starbucks in San Francisco just sounds weird to me. I guess if it's okay with the Gov wannabe, it's okay with me.

Not to mention, Angelides seems to think the National Guard are some sort of house servants for California, as well as the DIM party.
It makes me sick how little regard & respect our American troops get from those ~$%^&%^&*()*()~!@#$%^&*

Arnold is going to squash this clown like a flea. It will be a bright spot in November.

Angelides expresses the moonbat views of the Democrat kooks who've become the party's mainstream. He has no positive candidacy - his platform is bash Bush. What he has forgotten is you can't beat someone with nothing and his candidacy is living proof of it.

He thinks the war is wrong.

For whom? The Kurds? I'll bet they have a little different take on "Bush lied, people died. Al Qaeda? They even admitted to losing 4,000 "foreign" fighters. These dead terrorists would be plotting to overthrow their own governments, but are now getting their issue of virgins. How about the Swamp Arabs? Saddam had nearly wiped out this ancient ethnic group. Do you think they believe the war was wrong? But Dems only care about power. They did not give a d@mn about the Vietnamese, the Cambodians, the Rwandans, and they certainly don't give a d@mn about the Iraqis.
