Now that that is out of the way I will reveal how I (and a few others) discovered Jordan Edmund was one of the former house pages that participated in sexually explicit instant messages with Rep. Mark Foley. Also I will explain to you why I believe it necessary to reveal Jordan Edmund's identity. You may not agree with my decision, but I hope to explain my reasoning by the end of this story.

I find this disgusting. This man was a minor when the IMs took place and outing him disgusts me. I never thought I would agree with DU.
Bloggers looking for "scoops" can get carried away, like they did this time.
HE's the one who RECORDED the IMs and is using them to 'anonymously' smear the Republicans.

If he came forward three years ago and someone in the Dem party held this info, I feel sorry for him. But nothing stopped him from filing a complaint with federal authorities.

I do not defend what Foley did. I'm glad he did the right thing by resigning. But when I read those IMs, somehow I just can't help thinking - - - - who stopped them from just saying NO NO NO!!!!

Where is it reported that he came forward? He was outed by this blog.
Last log in on that site is 3/2006 where he says he is 21. Also, loves the game of politics. I hope this blogger comes up with a really good reason for outing this guy. Not yet seeing why it was necessary. At least not by name

He supplied his saved copies of IMs to that site which then supplied them to ABC.
