I am completely sure this has nothing to do with tolerating EVERYTHING possible from death-seeking male homos....

Let's see: a liberal city on the coast (Pacific Rim), and there's sex trafficking going on?

Who'd a thunk it?

I'm surprised that a city run by sexual degenerates and those who coddle them would allow this sort of thing.... /sarc

"I had no idea this was going on here."

You are kidding right? I was there last week. My daughter knew of the massage polars with "Happy Ending" provided. Its no secret that they exist.

...sex trafficking is now an $8 billion international business, with San Francisco among its largest commercial centers.

San Francisco is also the home of the 9th Circus Court. It's a good idea for California to keep all of their sewerage in one spot.

There is an interesting book on San Francisco during the gold rush - one story was on an Asian lady that had a hole in her door, with a guy out front, the men would pay him $5 to watch her for 10 minutes in her undergarments through the hole. This is hardly news.

Moral Absolutes Ping.

Couple things:

1. Prostitution is bad enough (except for the liberaltarians among us).

2. This is apparently not just about voluntary prostitutes, but those forced into prostitution.

3. Considering the many articles posted on FR about girls and women forced into prostitution in Europe and the Philippines (as well as other Asian countries like Nepal and India) this is apparently a not uncommon crime; in fact the prostitution "industry" seems to overlap the "sex slave" industry.

and

4. When predatory and casual/meaningless sexual behavior is considered socially acceptable, all manner of extreme and vicious sexual crimes is an inevitable outcome.

Freepmail wagglebee and/or me if you want on/off this pinglist.

When told by The Chronicle of the scores of erotic massage parlors with city permits, Newsom said, "We aren't doing our job. We should take these Internet lists and go down them one by one."

In July, Newsom waited with city inspectors one afternoon outside Sophia's Spa, an alleged brothel in an alley between an ultra-modern cocktail lounge and a sex shop on Geary Street.

A decoy, an Asian police officer in jeans and a T-shirt, stood in view of the security camera over Sophia's front door and pressed the buzzer. The metal security door opened.

He duct-taped the lock so Newsom, the inspectors, police, a social worker and a reporter could get in.

Hey, nowadays a married woman has more privacy rights than a prostitute from police nosing and her own husband. I would say this is a step forward. But note how the article bemoans the targetting of prostitutes as opposed to that of pimps. Well, when feminist courts take the role of pimp and distributing kids and moneys to whomever, guess what.
