It's horrible; I know. Stephanopolus was a big cause of my uncle dropping out of the nomination as Sec of Defense (nanny gate official reason) becaue of rumors Stephanopalus started that he was gay. He's not, but that didn't matter to the press, it sure didn't help his wife or sons to hear this and he got out rather than put them through more.

You know what? If you can't take criticism, then don't post stuff that draws it!

The current discussion is NOT about getting Bolton confirmed, WHICH IS THE PROVINCE OF THE SENATE AND HASTERT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT BECAUSE THE HOUSE DOESN'T DO CONFIRMATIONS!!!!

So you are not only going to criticize Hastert for his supposed lack of "doing something" when there wasn't anything for him to do, but you will criticize him because he, as Speaker of the HOUSE, can't control the SENATE confirmations???

If I were you I'd quit talking, too. You obviously are not as well-informed as you belive you are.

I think this a comparison we have to point out to Rush.

Here ABC is championing the "children" against a "predator" in their reporting on the Foley story when the "children" are 17 and 18, but at the same time the same news organization is paying to take Karr to a school for 10 year olds and setting him up to peer in the windows.

The question arises, would they have intervened or just kept filming if he had "Jon Beneted" some little child? Would Nancy?

I think I've got a winning ad for the national Republicans to run! Remember, the school ABC took this known pervert to is in Nancy Pelosi's district in San Francisco.

LOL!

I have been taking criticism all day....

I can take it... but I keep repeating myself... we disagree.. that is clear...

no biggee..am I supposed to keep repeating myself? I just think that gets old....

"our troops" is the Repulican majority that cannot get Bolton confirmed.... and you all have made it clear that they are above criticism- they are doing a SPLENDID job....

I disagree.. have voiced it... and you all disagree...

it is really that simple to me...

" I really never liked Salmon, but I have an excellent recipe that kills the taste"

I don't think I've had Atlantic Salmon and I hear there is definitely a difference in taste and looks between Atlantic and Pacific Salmon. There are several types of Pacific Salmon - -I don't care for King as much as it's oilier. Freshness makes a big difference, too. My step-father and BIL caught some on Lake Washington (in Seattle) this summer and we cooked some that night on the bar-b-que and they were terrific. We also smoke them sometimes, too - great as an hors d'ouvre. Your recipe sounds good - I'll have to try it.

Salmon Days is like a big street fair (they close off a good portion of downtown Issaquah). There is also a fish hatchery there and the Issaquah Creek - so you see the Salmon swimming upstream in the creek and going through the ladders at the hatchery. They also have bands, food booths, etc. Usually fun and something to do with the family. Of course, I had to stop by the Pubbie booth (which was just across from the Dim booth). Wore my McGavick for Senator and Reichert for Congress stickers all day.

Not to mention for a decade we have heard how wonderful it is for homos to have sex with 12 & 13 yr olds. Now they are outraged at 18 & 21 yr olds exchanging sleazy e-mails, everything is for political gain.

Pray for W and Our Troops

This ABC stunt is sickening. If they think nothing of bringing Karr to a school full of children, how can they keep a straight face with regard to the IM supposedly from Foley.

Beginning to look like the Foley deal was a set up too.

Try to understand that it's not about you and your feelings, it's about the national security of the United States of America and the rest of the civilized world.

#729, I sure hope he wins, the opponent in the primary was the most vicious campaigner I have ever witnessed, and the fool lost. Now the Female running against Buchanan is using the other guys talking points to trash him. He has a great ad with her talking about what a great guy he is though, she will get nowhere I hope. I love Sarasota and when I am in Town Tomorrow over on the Tamiami Trail, I will get the cheaper gas.It was $2.19 there Weds, it is $2.27 here where I live. I saw a really wonderful handmade sign as I was driving east on Fruitville road outside of Sarasota just west of Indian Creek Ranch. I believe it was a painted Tan with Yellow writing huge maybe six foot wooden sign that said "we Love Ann Coulter". It was very strange to see it way out the Boonies, but I knew I was in friendly territory. LOL!

What happened to Santorium? I thought he was gaining on Casey, looks like he's going to lose it now (decisively).

Not without massive vote fraud.  They are, of course, capable of that, but I think it will take a significant percentage more votes for his opponent than are registered in places like Philadelphia for Santorum to lose.  Of course, the dims are not averse to counting votes from Binghamton, NYC and Chicago if it makes a difference.

Guido will make sure of it.  Of course, the "linens" contract for the governor's mansion will be really sweet...

The idiots in the Democrat Party have teed it up once again for the Pubbies if the can muster the gumption to drive it out of the park.

I am of the opinion that most homosexuals would like to just be left alone. Their personal life is a private matter. Staying in the closet or at least below the radar is a matter of choice.

I find it interesting that the party that claims to care about civil rights and choice would champion a movement of forced outing that probes into the private lives of individuals and seeks to invalidate their choice.

Homosexuals of all political persuasions should understand that there is one party that will hold them hostage to their choice to keep their sexual preferences to themselves and use it against them at a moments notice.

Thank YOU!!! You started me contemplating why this is so.

FYI, FNC news said Arnold's poll numbers are up and the money for the Democrat candidate is drying up. Gee! I wonder why that is and if there's a cause and effect relationship here?

Could it be, and this is just an off the cuff thought, that pollsters are not only trying to gin up votes while depressing opposition turnout, but what if the Democrats are using these fake polls as a basis to get donors to give more money?

IF a race is close, Democrat operatives can tell potential donors "hey, just a few bucks from you and we can win" versus telling a donor "please donate even though we're going to lose this one." Republicans are donating because of issues and candidates we believe in. Could it not be, following past examples, Democrats are mostly donating where they think they can win? If they are as self-serving as we believe, this is entirely probable.

Could it be the media keeps saying Democrats are going to win the House or Senate just to get more donations from suckers on the left?

In the John Kerry mode, how do you tell a donor they were the last person to waste $100 or more on a campaign Democrats knew was lost?

I need to keep this in mind but the more I think about it the more it makes some sens

actually- I agree on hundred percent!!!!!

It bugs me that President Bush had to meet with McCain over the dang bill ofr terrorists rights! That ticks me off!

no- I don't hold Hastert responible for that-- It is a lot more to this than just Hastert... idiot voting for the likes of McCain, et al- for starters...

I don't ever want to see President Bush have to meet with McCain as if McCain is important in order to get a bill through to protect the REAL troops out their with their lives on the line.

as for my emotions- I am honestly trying to just agree to disagree without fighting with FREEPers.. no matter what we diagree on-- we are all on the same team here.. I have stated my case... if ya'll disagree- that is fine with me.. I am not interested in beating a dead horse or having to win the argument...

that is why I just said- Hey, I have voiced my thoughts.. no need to keep repeating... if anyone disagrees that is fine...that is what it is all about.. as a group- we all have to share our thoughts and ideas to be stronger and better and beat the other side.. we are going to disagree..

disagreeing is always an opportunity to learn something new... even if you just learn that a dem is a flaming idiot! LOL!

I am not bothered at all....I have enjoyed the debate today...

Soros is KGB, a long term "agent of influence" put in place as part of an Andropov program from the 50s. The Greens were founded by and funded by KGB.

Ipso facto, Soros is a Greenie.

Oh, and don't flash a Queen of Diamonds card to Kerry. You won't like what happens.

I'll tell you AC you don't realize how important a post you just made!
I wish I had dollar for every super brilliant Conservative Republican I know who won't run for "any office" just those reasons. The mill/grinder that candidates are put through now a days requires someone who is ready to have their entire family, friends, relatives, co-workers and anyone they ever knew, put through a ringer that few survive. Great catch there.
