PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The ongoing battle over the truth of alleged war crimes and atrocities committed by Americans in the Vietnam War moves to a Philadelphia courtroom this week.

An action filed in Philadelphia's Common Pleas Court today by a group of highly decorated veterans and POWs may finally hold Massachusetts Senator John Kerry and his allies accountable for the allegations they have propagated over the past 35 years.

This is excellent to hear. Colonel Day is a figure to be reckoned with and my guess is John F'n Kerry will squirm like the weasel he is to try and avoid the Colonel's spotlight.

Free Republic was very instrumental in getting the MSM to pay attention to the Swifties the first time they came out against Kerry...

They were ignoring them...but FR posted about them...and the book they were writing...and we know how HUGH they were in the 2004 election.

We need to help them with anything THEY need...

our being able to finally admit we served in Nam and even, be little proud of it

To you, and everyone else who served in Vietnam, you have nothing to be ashamed of and everything to be proud of.

I was born a 'Reagan Baby' in '81 and wasn't around at the time, but as far as I am concerned the call which all of you answered to serve your country, to promote, and defend freedom is honorable and nothing less.

Personally, I find it very disturbing that throughout all my years in publicly-funded schools, it wasn't until I was 22 or 23 years old when I learned that more people died to communism AFTER we pulled out of Vietnam, than died during the war.

Those in the press, and the Kerrys and Murthas who hold office, who chose to make our soldiers out to be monsters, should be deeply ashamed of themselves. As they try to do the same thing now, to our service men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan, it makes me sick to hear it.

You are all heroes, you should have no regrets, and should be very proud of your service to our country.

I am very thankful to all of you.

My post #44 is for your brother, and any/all who served. The welcome home they got, brought on by the treasonous American media, was sick.

I'm not a big supporter of capital punishment, but I wish it were still being used today for traitors. I'd settle for treason still being considered a crime.

I agree Tex.

We gave money that we didn't really have. But it was well worth it.

Can't argue with you there!! It was very sick.

I was young at the time, but I remember, while he was over there, in my mind I had built him up to be a giant, a hero. We have a very large family (Rick is the oldest of the 12 of us) and we all went, with Mom and Dad, to pick him up. I saw him and was shocked. As young as I was I remember thinking "my God, he is just a kid!" He was still a hero to me, I just remember being struck by how young he was to have gone through so much. I expected him to look older.

We all of course, beamed with pride, and still do! I am proud of each and every one of our boys we served! No matter where it was or when. As our country should be.

Every night I pray that Kerry will run in 08 so that we can finish the job we started in o4; then we helped expose this fraud and prevaricator of the first magnitude--in 08 we will bury him and his VVAW sycophant, coterie once and for all.

Be careful...he's vowed that he's prepared to kick your ass all across America... /heavy sarcasm

I will only say this, as a followup to my heartfelt thanks for your service to help keep me free: "Git some" and "Leave no doubt" when you send this clown to his justice.

To this day, his statue as Hero of the Vietnamese Communist Revolution stands full-scale in Hanoi's war museum.

I don't think he has a statue, does he? It's a photograph of the "Hero of the Vietnamese Communist Revolution" (at least as shown below). Never forget what that Bastard did.!!!

Good post. I want to help with $s. I bought 20 copies of "Unfit for Command" , to spread the word right before the 2004 election. . I believed it helped.

Uh oh....This is bad news for the GOP..
Any group going for the jugular of Kerry and the lunatic left, is going to get 100% of my political contributions.....

In 2004 -- I contributed more money in that year than in all previous years combined --- and it all went to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.. It was money well spent!

The Republicans have become too friendly with the "enemy within" to suit me...

My money will go to those that will fight the fight and draw the blood...
If you think you really can't afford to help -- think of our brothers marked on that cold Wall on the Mall, who have yet to receive a meaningful apology for being slandered.
