Here's to GM who has the guts to do what's right.

If you think that then they got you right where they want you. GM is playing both ends against the middle. Their promos are going to both political parties. Plus, almost all their promo give-away cars/trucks are being built outside the USA with the be patriotic anthem behind them to fool all the people they can.

Now, you still want to buy GM?

It wasn't a 'total' giveaway. The 'winners' were responsible for about $7000 each in taxes.

Oprah car winners hit with hefty tax
Like any prize, the value is counted as income; winners must pay up to $7,000 or forfeit the car.

"I'm no fan of Hannity, but what the heck? He has a huge listenership consisting of people with jobs and money, and who don't see cars as the vehicle of the devil. There's a reason why nobody wants to advertise on Air Amerika..." ----

LOL ....... well said!

"Drive-by-media" was about the most brilliant phrase I have heard coined in a long time ........ at least since "feminazis".

Yes indeed. I included that in post # 40.

Rush popularized it, but I saw it used earlier in Bernard Goldberg's Arrogance. It's catchy, and conveys more than "liberal media".

Yes indeed ....... it captures the sly, behind the back, ruthless, and devious way the old media behaves!

For you and the author of the article. Don't listen to the show and don't participate in the sweepstakes.

Problem solved.

It has to be a better idea than that gay little Lincoln "MkZ". Ford will be out of business soon.

The problem for GM is that most conservatives... drive Toyotas, Hondas, Subarus (WRX); anything but a GM product.

Our family has a Toyota and a Honda. Maybe that's why they're hitting this market hard. To be honest, all the advertising on Hannity has led me to rethink a Suburban.

Oprah giving away cars - she's a goddess!! Hannity giving away cars - he's evil!!

And the MAJOR difference is that the MSM (and Oprah did not make much of an effort to correct them) made it seem as if SHE was giving the cars away, (though she is well capable of doing so with her Billion$$$) when all the time, they were being donated by the manufacturer.

At least Sean is emphasizing this point over and over.

There is no problem. Maybe in your mind.

The real problem with this is that GM is basically saying that it's vehicles are worthless ,, they GIVE THEM AWAY ,, it lowers the perceived value of all their cars ,, of course the total cost of the giveaway will be quite small compared to the eyeballs they capture so it may be of some value ,, especially in getting the word out on so many of their newer models that very few people can even name (Saturns new models , new buick nameplates , etc.)

If your other statements are as untrue as your final one, I don't need to waste my time with you. Except for the econocans, GM vehicles are made in the USA.
Maybe one or two in Mexico. That still leaves the majority American or Canadian assembled.

When did Canada become part of the USA?

The majority of their non-econoboxes are built in Canada. The Impala is built in Canada; and last I checked, that wasn't part of the USA.

The only things they make here (in general) are some of their fullsize trucks, the Canyon/Colorado and a few cars. Most *ARE NOT* made in the USA. And most of those have mostly foreign parts.

The writer is bound by his biased view. Pathetic, isn't it.

Pathetic yes, but I know Steven won't be bound to his view. Since he is every bit as opinionated as Hannity, to be bound to his view he would have to cancel all his advertising and we know that isn't going to happen.

Steven's little bitch session is nothing more than hard left moon-bat politics masquerading as journalism, nothing more.

Most likely responding to complaints from fellow travellers so he wrote the article to appease the leftists. What fools.
