"You have people like Michael Moore going into foreign countries saying Americans are the stupidest people in the world," Zucker said. "I want to tell the real America story, that America is a force for good."
So succinct, so excellent.

he was really into electric cars
How could anyone, therefore, doubt his leftist bona fides? ;)

There appears to be a few former libs that actually get it. They've taken those rose colored glasses off and see the future for what it could be with the rat crowd in power.

Actually UTube is a website for a manufacturing company. The number of hits that they are getting from folks looking for YouTube is shutting them down almost all day every day.
Apparently there are some talks with Google to sell the domaign name because this problem is hurting business.

That is nothing new and the democrats have always been tax-and-spend. So why didn't Zucker recognize that fact earlier than 2004? Maybe he was like those faithful, neo-Republicans who today ignore the fact that Republicans are trying to surpass Democrats in the tax-and-spend category.
To: Mia T
Without divulging too many details, Zucker said he plans to make a film lampooning politics ... I'd like see Mark Steyn on the writing team.

Interesting suggestion.
A common aesthetic nothwithstanding the superficial difference in their humor, i.e.,
Zucker : Steyn :: literal lunacy : figurative insanity

Fitting metaphor for those worn-out retreads.
The professional pol is a relic.
Once simply a nuisance, now he is a mortal danger.
We no longer have the luxury of time or circumstance to abid this nonsense.

If he's not 100%, what does it matter? No one else is either. All political parties are comprised of people making factional alliances for strategic reasons based on their own prioritized self-interests.Just because the Republican platform doesn't mesh with my admittedly idiosyncratic beliefs against the death penalty, for example, doesn't mean I shouldn't be allowed to support the rest of its platform and work for the election of its conservative candidates.
What's important is that Drucker's a high-profile member of the growing vanguard of jewish political converts who is calling the dems out on their odious alliance with the world's knuckledragging anti-zionist anti-semites (like Bob Casey's repugnant partnership with the raving bigots at moveon.org.) and reaching his hand out to all those jewish voters around the country (who'd never imagined in a million years that it would be FDR's party that would sell them out & the Republicans standing up for them in the face of such murderous hatred) to help them up on the Pubbie bandwagon.
The more David Zuckers out there saying it's ok for jews to go against generations of ingrained political tradition & do what they know in their guts is the right thing for their children's future, the better for everybody's children. Like this country's Roman Catholics before them, jewish voters have to be shown that the democratic party their grandparents professed allegiance to just doesn't exist anymore.
He can keep his electric car & still campaign for republicans. There are more pressing issues these days, like the war currently being waged against America, Israel & the rest of western civilization for starters.
