Well, I am certainly not minimizing this risk.

However, I must think that SOMEONE would/should have more inside information/intelligence than what we can glean from a few alternative-news Internet sites. And if so, and if attacks were imminent, it would be amazing that the DOW continues to flirt with record levels.

And in all sincerity, if things were imminent, I would expect some time of noticeable movement of Muslims. So either they haven't heard the warning, or they don't believe it. But who knows? Certainly not me. Just some ramdom thoughts...

But why now? I used to think that such an attack, if successful, would help Bush and republicans and galvanize the US in an all-out assault against Muslim extremists, Iran, North Koreaa, etc.. But I no longer am so confident. The MSM (internationally and domestic) will crucify Bush as the ultimate cause of such attacks, plus his failure to secure the border is undeniable.

In the event of a coordinated attack on the USA I humbly posit that that events will take their own inexorable course, which is immediate and widespread revenge. Rather than "7 Days in May", it would be more like "7 Hours in October". No politician would dare stand against the military. This country has been tagged as a pitiful helpless giant for too long, primarily because of our continuing misguided willingness to turn the other cheek against all manner of insults and injuries by various tinhorn dictators, terrorists and assorted other pukes. Slow to anger over the years, the pent-up desire and need to clean the world's out-houses house will burst loose upon the planet, and several nations will be decapitated. Will this be a good or a bad thing?? Draw your own conclusions.
