To call this "ghetto trash" is an insult to both ghettos and trash.
Thanks for nailing it.
I go with Dennis Prager's
"there are only two races: the decent and the indecent".
This brawl was a display of the latter.

I think they got part of the quote wrong. I've corrected what I'm sure this Fuhrman character must have really said below:
"We were disappointed in the incident that happened on the field and regret the way it was handled in the broadcast booth," Comcast Sports SouthEast general manager Mark Fuhrman said. "We do not support or condone the inappropriate comments made by colored analyst Lamar Thomas and have taken the necessary steps to prevent a similar situation from ever occurring again."

"....That sums up Miami's football program over the last 20 years. Doesn't matter who the coach is. Donna Shalala must be proud....."
I would agree except for the Rosebowl when they kicked our a$$...As a Husker fan I must say they weren't to bad with us that year..Most of the Husker Nation was pleasantly surprised.

Actually heard the comments this morning on 770 ABC AM in New York,
absolutely un believable............
The Jackass actually wanted to leave the booth and 'get in on the action'.
Comcast is going to replay the game during the week (they always do) but edit out the comments.

You recruit thugs and then are surprized that they get into a brawl?
Frankly, I'm glad Miami left the Big East, who needs them?

"''I think this will affect the image of this program, but in a very positive way,'' Coker said. ``This won't be a negative for the University of Miami.''"
Unbelievable. I had go to that link to read what surely could NOT have been said by Coker - but sure enough, there it was.
