Quote: "The DSCC's optimism about winning the Senate is apparently contagious as the DNC is going to pony up an extra $5-10M for the Senate committee, according to sources familiar with the previously reported arrangement between the two campaign orgs."
Have to ask, is it optimism or that the DSCC was running behind in money?
DSCC is getting ready to join Air America
"DNC apparently has decided to go into debt"
Well, that's how they run the government.
Why doesn't Hillary lend it to them? Oh wait... she needs it in 08, but she's not running...
If this were the republicans, the spin would be exactly the opposit.
"Demcrats desperate for cash borrow money."
"Democrats short on cash borrow money."

When I read the article that is exactly what I thought. Sounds a lot like desperation to me.
I thought they had this election in the bag !!!!
This is fantastic...not only are the Dems going to fail to take the majority in either chamber, they're gonna go into debt doing it!
"Make them spend it all, Howard!"
I'll lend them some if I get foreclosure rights.
Would it be too much to demand that the MSM look into just who in their right might would extend such a "line of credit" to the DNC and what the terms are???
Wouldn't it be a kind of political "donation" if such a line of credit is given on anything better than market terms for what is surely as less than stellar credit risk??
What interest rate are they paying?
They are trying to spin their lack of fund raising prowress?
And Dems were already donating to the DNSCC, and DNCCC to avoid Dean and his DNC.
This is too funny.
Dems are out of money and are trying to spin it as a positive ping! :)
Wont this make them 10+ short for the presidential election?
Where are all the rank and file rats willing to give every penny they have to see a rat congress?
in other news the Republicans have raised enough money for this election cycle.
You have brough up a very interesting point here, I will send that idea around to other people and see if I can't find out.

Alternately, they may be spending in Virginia in order to force the Republicans to match their spending, taking away GOP funds from Tennessee and Missouri.
Ain't politics fun?
