I can't tell you how many people on DU and Kos consider polls as truth or proof and base their positions on this data.

Poll results are one of the reasons I sleep well at night. I have to get in on this gig. It seems like there's big money in this propaganda, even if you are a total fraud.

Keep this under your hat! The Dems must believe that they have this one in the bag for our plans to work out.

As usual, the DU trolls and fellow trilobite will watch as the polls close and show REPS winning and holding both house and senate. This is because they need to blame something other than the fact that they are a party with no real ideas, losing black, Hispanic and union voters by the truckload and aborting all their future numbers.
I say let em have the polls, we'll take the elections, supreme court, etc. and besides, we need the keep PJ-Comix in business with the DUmmie Funnies.

I have been reading these articles about skewed polls and have been reassured. However, over the last few days, Rush, Sean and others have been going crazy about trying to up the turnout and how important this election is (all true) and they are starting to sound desperate. It is worrying me when I really wasn't all that worried before. They sound like they expect a loss.

43% as Democrat - 37% as Republican
Your math is wrong, it is only 6% not 16%

Even more dangerous... oversampling of Dems in exit polls and then posting the early 'results'. This happened in the last election. This kind of crap aims to keep Repubicans/Conservatives at home on election day. All the proof required to demonstrate which team the MSM bats for is to look at the 2000 Election. Florida was called for Gore with an hour left to vote in the (overwhelmingly Republican) panhandle.

Polls can be manipulated to show anything the poll-taker wants to show.
It's no accident that every politician has his own pollsters.
Polls do not show what 300 million Americans are thinking. They show only what the 500 or 1200 people who responded to the average poll might be thinking.
The same question will be answered differently if asked of 500 conservatives and 500 network news people.
The few studies of the accuracy of polls show that the history of polls being right is somewhere between mostly guessing wrong to flipping a coin.

Maybe these fake polls will backfire for the MSM and the Democrats and many Democrats will now feel so secure, they won't bother to show up and vote.
