In his book, which came out this week, Kengor focuses on a KGB letter written at the height of the Cold War that shows that Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan's foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts.

Wow. Just plain wow. Can we question their patriotism yet? Actually, I don't think so -- there is nothing there to question...

Incredible...he should be tried...

You could see signs of this during Reagan's Presidency. The entire democratic leadership did everything short of offing Reagan to stymie his Administration.
Kennedy was (and is) one of the worst of the bunch.

Unbelievable!
I wonder what would have happened if I had written a letter to the KGB offering to help counter a US President? Only a frigging Kennedy could get by with this.

Some really juicy stuff has come out the archives of the USSR,East Germany and other Soviet bloc nations.
Teddy's response to this will,I'll wager,be to challenge the authenticity of the document(s),claim that it's misunderstood or claim that it's "old news".

Because every Left Wing adolescent comes here to go to one of our over-rated colleges and never leaves! He has the Senior Citizens scared to death that their SS checks will stop. So the Middle Class moves out leaving only Moon Bats and Q-Tips.
Soon, this group will include Illegal Aliens after Gov. Free'm all Deval makes MA a Sanctuary State.

You see, when liberals cry 'There's a Vast, Right Wing Conspiracy", they pretty much just say it. No proof. Nothing. Just words.
Now, when conservatives claim a left wing conspiracy, we do it with documented proof.

I remember when he flew over there to try a counter foreign policy of Reagan's during the 80's.
He has been a traitor for 50 + years, yet in spite of true justice, he continues to live outside of jail, and is constantly reelected by the sheeple of MA.

Well, it would also depend on whether you were trying to undermine a Republican or a Democrat with that letter. If it had been a Republican, probably you would have gotten away with it, or gotten off with a wrist slap. If it had been Carter or Clinton--nope. You'd be rotting in jail somewhere, if allowed to live at all.

In fact, as he points out in his book, Kennedy himself made a "gracious concession" after Reagan died, crediting the 40th president with winning the Cold War. Just as years from now, even Democrats will pay homage to President Bush for his actions in Iraq.

Andropov was a hard-line Communist with a long record of oppression as the hammer of Hungary and was the first KGB chief to become General Secretary (Putin is #2). If Sen. Ted Kennedy picked him over President Reagan, we know Kennedy is a godless socialist.

If Mary Jo Kopechne had lived, she would be 64 years old.
Through his tireless work as a legislator,
(Sen. for Life) Edward Kennedy would have brought comfort to her in her old age"
and she would have still supported the Soviet Union, read the Boston Globe,
and dutifully supported gay marriage and Deval-the -wannabee prorapist Governor, like Sen. Kennedy.
