Elizabeth Edwards, wife of White House hopeful John Edwards, says her choices in life have made her happier than Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton a possible Edwards' rival for the Democratic nomination.
"She and I are from the same generation. We both went to law school and married other lawyers, but after that we made other choices. I think my choices have made me happier. I think I'm more joyful than she is," Elizabeth Edwards said Thursday.

Well, Elizabeth isn't really a politician. But it doesn't matter, I think she will be going for a jog in Ft. Marcy Park soon.

Wasn't that one of the reasons we were supposed to vote Kerry/Edwards...they had better hair?

Not one mention of her breast cancer? The media must be slipping. I'm not joking, I saw an article just a couple weeks ago on that topic and couldn't help but think "Didn't this happen while Johnny Boy was running for VP?" So, I guess this is one of those things that is going to be pulled out again and again by the media each election cycle.

Joyful is never a term one would associate with Hillary.
Lovely, gracious, charming, feminine, friendly, patriotic, decent, honorable, ethical, humble and kind are other terms one will never associate with Hillary.
Elizabeth Edwards has survived breast cancer and the loss of her 16 yr old son and despite that personal grief, she does act more joyful and serene than Hillary.

Shortly after the 04 election, Edwards was posting on DU, to much fawning and licking.

"Edwards, who is promoting her memoir "Saving Graces," recalled on Thursday an occasion when Clinton surprised her by showing up for dinner at the Edwards' home."Apparently, she had confirmed with John just a little while earlier but news hadn't reached me," Edwards said, according to a transcript provided by the magazine. "We didn't have enough shepherd's pie in the fridge so we ate salmon and cabbage lots of it. She loves cabbage and so do I."
Two fat RAT women eating cabbage for dinner is an image that I could do without, thank you very much.

"what a weird thing to say..." Not when you see the apology. This is a publicity stunt. Osama Obama has been getting a lot of attention from Oprah as of late. The Edwards were feeling needy.
The DNC is a circus.

This is waaaaay off topic and my memory is a bit sketchy. But, here goes, I saw Mrs. Edwards on CSPAN at one of those town hall type meetings. She was speaking about health care and such (it was before her diagnosis I believe or before it was public knowledge). She laid out the most socialist health care plan I ever heard thus far. She had the crowd though, they were enthralled. Despite the fact she contradicted herself several times and was barely coherent. She does have more charm and charisma than Hillary though and I agree she is probably more joyful. She is still a commie though through and through.

In the 1968 presidential race, Humphrey vs Nixon, Humphrey's political career was celebrated as "the politics of joy." Go figure.
