Yes, they're still whining about the Crusades of centuries ago, while we haven't heard them ask forgiveness for attrocities they've committed in the last five years. Seems someone is stuck in the seventh century...

Essentially the Cardinal asks that Muzlims apologize for izlam.
Yeah, good luck with that.

Dear Muslims,
9-11 was no mere cartoon, apologize NOW.
It's time WE made demands of them.

Want to guess how the Religion of Perpetual Outrage will respond to this request???

I guess my question kind of gave it away.

O'Brien said: "There have been no apologies for the shooting of the nun [in Somalia after the Pope made his remarks], let alone for 9/11 or the London bombings. I would like to see some reciprocal moves from the Islamic side. We shouldn't have to live in fear of attack from Muslims."

His exact words. Good for him.

I hope/pray he will survive the 'peace rage' from the peaceful.

This is refreshing, I must say. My experience is only white Christians are ever asked to apologize for anything.

I read a letter to the Time by someone on: how Christians were asked to apologize for persecutions during past, and 'justifiably so' as the writer put it, but Muslims?
Never, you can't even criticize them.

Muslim comminities belong in Muslim countries. It would solve many problems over here and over there.

Can a Freeper put up a Muslim outrage meter on this one? I'm guessing the needle will be in the mid to high zone.

An apology is only good if it comes from the heart and is truly sincere.

Yes, it is totally overdue that we make demands of them. The Catholics seem to get it. I love this.

How dare Cardinal Keith O'Brien ask the Muslims to apologize. Doesn't he understand Islam is a superior religion to Christianity.

People don't convert to Islam, they revert to Islam.

Islam claims man naturally should be a Muslim and you can't change a man from his natural state, just get him by word, deed or sword to understand he was born to be a Muslim.

So why should a Muslim apologize for doing what is natural to him, like Jihad, eating, sleeping and humping goats ?

"We didn't do it, those guys are extremists." Well, then, how about apologizing for dancing in the streets when it happened??

It's about time someone had the backbone to stand up to the Muslims. The rank and file Muslims with their silence about the atrocities being committed in the name of their faith are no different than Germans who stood silent to Hitler's acts of barbarism. Muslims SHOULD apologize for 9-11 and 7-7 and if they are truly a "religion of peace" root out and denounce these terrorists.

Excatly, or that "but" thing they need to attach to the lame rare "apologies".

Yup, I believe that all Islamic terrorists actually rely on no-apologies or lame "apologies" from fellow 'moderate' Muslims, otherwise they would not have the backbone to continue their Jihad on the infidel.
