I ABSOLUTELY agree. If we want a strong and CONSERVATIVE (or libertarian) republican party, the campaigns and the primaries is where we stand and fight. It worries me that so many are saying they will stay home and "send a message". What would that message be, do they think? The demonRATs win and further ruin our country and morale and the RINOS blame the conservatives- THAT is the result.
I agree with you about the saty home and vote crowd.
Either way to choose between the lesser of two evils - a bunch that can't get anything done at all is far better than a bunch who CAN get stuff doen - the WRONG stuff. The Rats have always been far better at advancing their agenda when in power than the Repubs.
If you MUST avoid voting for a Republican RINO, at LEAST vote for a third party Conservative or Libertarian - at least that sends SOME kind of message.
The message the small voter turn-out sends is - WE CAN DO ANYTHING WE WANT BECAUSE THOSE JERKS OUT THERE DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO EVEN VOTE.
