It was one of the usual tricks from the deceitful Dems. Republicans used to be blue and the Dems were red. But they didn't like the slogan, "Better dead than red", which of course, referred to the commies. So they had the MSM change it. The latest trick is in renaming themselves the "Democratic Party", not "Democrat". Check your ballot. They did it again. They want everyone to think that they are more democratic than the Republicans. Not!

Wow. Can they get anymore self-dramatizing?

She gave Hannity the station I.D. and all that. If it's true, I hope he can at least get the audio.

"Let's start a Blue Revolution across the USA on Election Night to stop Republicans from stealing Election 2006."
Note to Cindy: Just because you are a liberal and I am a conservative does not mean that only your vote counts and mine does not. A better slogan might be "...to stop Democrats from losing Election 2006." Political office does not, by default, belong to liberals...even though you and your kind believe it to be so. Sometimes reality is very difficult to accept, but I suggest you do so now.

"...It still irks me that the Dims got the color blue when red really defines them for who they are. Typical Bolshevik trick of representing yourself for exactly the opposite of what you really are. Why the heck did the Pubbies put up with it?..."Actually, it was done after the 2000 elections by the MSM. What can I say - it just stuck, like "Sore-Loserman".
An interesting point though. About 100 years ago, when I lived in Canada, a referendum was held nationally to vote on the 'new' Canadian flag that would replace the Red Ensign. The design that was chosen by over 60% of Canadians was a Red Maple Leaf, on a White background, with Blue Borders each side - Red-White-Blue.
Since the Liberals, and their friends, the NDP (read Communist) with Trudeau, were in charge, they chose the current rag they have today - Red-White-Red.
I became an American that day, and never looked back.............FRegards

Why the heck did the Pubbies put up with it? Why don't they change it? We keep hearing how they're "in charge" of everything.

There's a slightly better chance of a "Wu" revolution than a "Blue" one:

When the polls close, we propose that Democrats across the country gather outside their County Election Office for a candlelight vigil to Count Every Vote, all wearing the same color: Blue. While I agree it's fine to support your preferred political party's ideals, this sounds suspiciously faction-esque. At some point, both Red and Blue states must buy into the vision of a common United States of America, lest we fall into the type of splinter groups so common in other countries. Anymore, the "us vs. them" mentality has been over-emphasized and manipulated by the media.

Cindy needs to return to her porn days. Imagine. " Cindy and Mr. Ed do Crawford" She could have mattered. Would've done more to wipe porn out than one could ever imagine.

Plus, the Governator is coasting to such a large win in Cali that the pitiful GOP may win 5 out of 8 major downticket races there in the heart of liberal land! I knew he had this locked up, but when I heard that he was ahead of Angelides in SAN FRAN(!) that took my breath away.

Actually, the colors were traded back and forth each election cycle for years, but as the country became more divided (i.e., as the Dems became more extreme), the terms came into the vernacular and stuck.
Besides, red stands for blood, as in "red-blooded Americans."
