Governor asks NAACP not to judge him as Republican (MSM misleading title alert)

"All I'm asking you is one thing," he said. "That is, don't get, you know, kind of maybe sidetracked about an R in front of the name. Or a D in front of the name. Don't pay any attention to the R or the D. Just judge the person."

Angelides addressed the same group Friday, criticizing the governor for not supporting affirmative action and for vetoing gun control measures.

The governor, as he typically does before Democratic audiences, used anecdotes from his life in Hollywood and from his bipartisan marriage into the iconic Kennedy clan to disarm his listeners.

What Arnold said, as quoted above is NOT as the title describes. What he said is entirely reasonable, considering his audience -- Some 85-92 % of Black voters vote for Dems. Arnold wants to cut into that, and I hope he does.
