I saw that interview and Schumer was unbelievable! He said that every poll shows the Dems in better shape to take over the Senate when the opposite is true. He said that this election is a referendum on George Bush and his "failed policies" when he knows that an off-year election consists of 435 individual elections and that George Bush is NOT on the ballot.
As for Liddy Dole, many have been critical of the job she has done as the chair of the Republican re-election committee, but she did her best to get her points in over the objections of Chuck Schumer and Chris Wallace.

Hard to believe that Democrats are even out ther campaigning with the tired old Schumer ranting idiocies. From where I sit, I do not see any fantastic action the part of Democrats to win the Senate or the House.... The result was as unreal as when Rick Lazio lost for invading Hillary's "space."
