"Rights To Benefits"

That just doesn't look right to me. I'm not sure anybody has "Rights To Benefits".

What does it means to have the same rights as heterosexual couples? It's a loaded question. Anyone can give power of attorney and name beneficiaries no matter sexual orientation. To be legally recognized as married? Is that the question? I think it is different. Society has already decided that anyone has a right to have babies no matter their life situation. What rights to gay couples want?

They want to be able to labeled as "married." That is their big push and the most controversial and offensive "right" they want.

In my opinion.

Of course, they ( MSNBC ) will ignore the overwhelming majority voted against it, and focus on the small percentage that did.
