Kerry Bashes Our Volunteer Military

Tonight's "John Ziegler Show" on KFI 640AM in Southern CA played a clip from Senator John F Kerry's appearance at Pasadena City College with candidate Phil Angelides, Democrat for CA governor.

At the event, Kerry had this to say about our brave military volunteers:

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

What about the millions of A-Holes that voted for him. Can you imagine what this Country would be like if he won.

This morning's SPIN is that Kerry was 'making a joke' and that criticism of him is "unfair"

Of course the Left wants it both ways. No one can gore one of their sacred cows even in jest but slander our fighting soldiers as stupid in a time of war is just STUPID.

Planning the statement, if it was planned as a 'joke', makes it that much worse!

The sections dealing with disgracing the uniform, flag and country need to be revised.

We have 23 year old Lieutenants and Sergeants making street level decisions that determine if Americans are going to live or die. They do more than bloviate about the brilliance of Noam Chomsky. I'd rather have one of those soldiers on my side than some pampered, lazy, college educated snob any day of the week.

All of this coming from John F'n Kerry who discovered some rarely used loop hole to escape service. He used his position as a Jr. officer to award himself a bunch of phony medals so that he could bail on his men. Real leader of men there huh?

Kerry is a moron...how well did HE do in college? Kerry couldn't even hold out in Vietnam. We have a young friend, just deployed to Iraq, ROTC, University with honors, the whole bit. How DARE J.F'n Kerry imply that our military is substandard!

There's no question he *did* say it. It's reported in one news account of the event that I quoted elsewhere in this topic.

That article is still up and says he got "laughter and gasps." Here's an excerpt:

Kerry charmed the crowd with tales of surfing at Mission Beach and got laughs for a series of one liners, including telling the crowd he had just returned from Texas, "Where the president used to live - now he lives in a state of denial."

Kerry then told the students that if they were able to navigate the education system, they could get comfortable jobs - "If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq," he said to a mixture of laughter and gasps.

The ultimate irony is that Kerry owes his entire lifestyle, and particularly his ability to run for President, to the Heinz ketchup fortune of Republican John Heinz.

Our all volunteer military fighting for our security and freedom is the best "poll" of all. The voluteers are a reflection of majority opinion and actual American values. Contrary to Kerry's comments, our soldiers are not dummies. They realize that freedom is worth fighting for, unlike Kerry and his fellow Democrat-Socialists.

Kerry is a traitor to this country. Congress should make the penalty for treason death by hanging.
