Tonight's "John Ziegler Show" on KFI 640AM in Southern CA played a clip from Senator John F Kerry's appearance at Pasadena City College with candidate Phil Angelides, Democrat for CA governor.
At the event, Kerry had this to say about our brave military volunteers:
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
He's a disgraceful idiot
SFC Paul Smith was so dumb, he persisted in manning his .50-caliber machine gun under horrendous heavy automatic-weapons and rocket-propelled grenade fire to save his brother soldiers (100 of them), an act that cost Sergeant First Class Smith his life.

My father was a Navy Corpsman in the Korean War. He had more combat experience in one day than Kerry did in his whole so-called "tour of duty" in Vietnam.
Kerry is nothing but an enormous pile of fecal matter. Actually, he's worse...at least manure has some usefulness.

What is he really saying? Is he saying, if you do not choose college, then you will be forced into the military?
Kerry calls our brave soldiers stupid uneducated failures and now he's realized what a hugh goof up that was so he needs now to blame the white house and especailly blame cancer survivor tony snow. Doesn't kerry respect cancer survivors?

Kerry is despicable--what a horrible thing to say.
He's referring to people like myself, who enlist(ed) in the military because of the lack of opportunity in our communities for those without family wealth or a college education. And in my experience, the vast majority of people enlist "for the benefits".
Thanks for the link. No way this was a "botched" joke as Kerry and the moonbats are claiming. He deliberately slammed the military, and even paused for reaction after he did it. I couldn't possibly come up with enough expletives to describe what I think about him, but he is a pathetic excuse for a human being.

Well said. This idiot is madly in love with himself and believes none of us are good enough to wipe his shoes. I wouldn't stoop to wiping my shoes on his face if he were lying in the gutter in front of me. And he doesn't have far to go to get their either.

The President is coming on from Georgia--answering Kerry's remark about our troops "stuck in Iraq"--this should be great!
He most definitely owes an apology to the military and to the families. Both of your fine sons are wonderful young men, "educated", and in the military by choice because they want to serve their country.
The nerve of him. I'm with Dr. Laura, whose son is also in the military...she said today that she would love to slap his face.
And as a matter of fact, it is not easy to join the Military in this day and age. One has to have completed high school, be in fine physical shape and pass tests. Kerry is a jerk, and far worse.

I was on a thread last night when this story first broke...after awhile I had to leave before I stroked out...I could feel my BP rising and it still is high....I hate this POS...
I remember Fox News talking about the soldier who led the thunder run into Baghdad. He has a Masters, and after his tour was over there, they sent him to CentCom. The guy was brilliant in military strategy.
I don't remember what his background was, I just remember thinking how fortunate America was to have him on our team.
I was here last night too. I can't believe how this has blown up. Without the internet, this would've barely made a blip.
I've hated this POS since the Swift Boat Vets came out with the truth about him. I had never really heard of him before that, just that he was running for CIC.

I wouldn't let him enlist until after the 2000 election...my hubby served under the rapist and I was not letting my son serve under Gore....
