A man who remembers everything and learns nothing. [Victor Davis Hanson] One of the things I love about America is the spontaneous brilliance and humor that undermine all pretension. No better example was that wonderful banner from our brave and ingenious soldiers in Iraq, blaring:
"HALP US JON CARRY-WE R STUCK [backwards k] HEAR N IRAK."
20 million Americans must have seen it all over the Internet, and nothing sums up the nothingness of Kerryism better than those smiling soldiers. After seeing that, no wonder he's offering deer-in-the headlights apologies. This is a man who remembers everything and learns nothing.
Then there was the finger-in-the wind initial Democratic response: their supposedly slight ill breeze suddenly became a Katrina hurricane, and, Presto!, they were all over the airwaves demanding from poor Kerry the apologies that just a few hours ago they thought were not necessary.
As for Kerry — how quick the 24-hour metamorphosis from smugness to defiance to purported contriteness! At his earlier blame-the-wing-nuts-and-Rush-Limbaugh press conference, he thought he was a strutting, strong-jawed Napoleonic general leading his troops to rout the evil Bush-Cheney Prussians, and then, alone, suddenly turned around — and Mein Gott in Himmel!! — his Old Guard was heading for the hills.
LOL -- I just saw some clips too --- gawd, he is such a sickening, snooty boob.
The no apology apology, that Kerry made, is despicable! OTOH, that picture of the soldiers with the sign is FANTASTIC! :-)

Kerry most prominent character flaw is his inability to forget or forgive. His pathological hatred for Bush was his eventual undoing. It is so MacBethian.
To think a man with this serious a character flaw was almost president of the United States. He was almost the man with the nuclear football. That is a scary thought.
It's a darn shame that the servicemen are being led by empty skirts who don't want to offend the enemy. They deserve much better.

Don't forget that the gigolo also went after Tony Snow. Calling him a stuffed shirt standing behind a podium. The media conveniently edits that part out of Kerry's rampage against the right wing nutjobs, leaving in only the insult of Rush.
When one is consumed by hatred, bad things happen. How often Scriptures tell us this in both the Commandments, Proverbs, and Jesus teachings. It was truly amazing to see this lesson lived out on television and the internet. I think Senator Kerry could learn a life-changing lesson from this, but I am not hopeful.
He even remembers Christmas time river excursions into Cambodia.

That picture just reminded me of a thought I had yesterday that the Kerry '08 campaign needs to hire 'Borat' as their spokesman. He's probably the only person alive who could turn Kerry's offensive gibberish into "humorously endearing" gibberish.
I do not think Kerry will every learn. He has never learned to keep his views in proper perspective. He comes off like many wannabes do when when first caught in their lies. Where are those medical records showing medical treatment for wounds? Please sign the SF 180 so we can apologize to you JFK. When you claim you were swift boated, I find that hard to buy. Had anyone questioned my purple heart(s), I would have released all military medical records stating where bullets entered and existed plus how many days I spent in various hospitals recovering from the wounds.
