Media Watch: Dems Counter Bush "Attacks"
Newsblog Central ^ | 01 November 2006

I love the tone of this article. When Republicans make their case, they're "attacking" Democrats. When the Dems bid, it's called "countering." The verbage throughout the article is very enlightening. Here's a few highlights of clever word association by author Espo.

Republicans: attack, criticizing, battle...waged, protect seats, Bush's script, mocked, reeling, ridiculed, accusation.

Democrats: undeterred, countered, change, winning, usher in a new era of divided government, poised to win, decade of struggle, projected confidence, competitive, gained the endorsement.

You can see that the author paints a bleak outlook for Republicans almost characterizing them as cornered animals, lashing out at the establishment. Meanwhile, Democrats are valiantly fighting the fight, and striving towards victory. Shameless.

Campaigning for Republicans, President Bush said Monday that "terrorists win and America loses" if opponents of his Iraq policy triumph in next week's elections. Undeterred, House Democrats countered with television ads critical of the war in several competitive races...

This is interesting. Subtle, subliminal bias at its best.

Here is the article on Free Republic.

Much like the MSM have been campaigning against our troops and their mission in Iraq.

They have not given American's any info about what our troops are doing, they even refuse to broadcast our pressers there.

Thats the same thing I saw this morning on MSNBC. The story read:
Scandals could affect House control
Clouds hang over at least 15 GOP seats

It goes on to list 15 GOP "scandals"

I knew they would try and sweep this Kerry thing under the rug and fall back on old stories.

Or, fool a conservative once, shame on CNN.

Fool a conservative twice, shame on that fool conservative.

Three ways to beat these Marxists on Tuesday...........

Turn out, turn out, turn out!

TAGLINE

****

The socialist/Marxist/liberal media is the most destructive, relentless, and ruthless enemy of this Republic.

****

Do not fear the enemy, for your enemy can only take your life. It is far better that you fear the press, for they will steal your HONOR. That awful power, the public opinion of a nation, is created in America by a horde of ignorant, self-complacent simpletons who failed at ditching and shoemaking and fetched up in journalism on their way to the poorhouse. -Mark Twain

****

"A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victim, and he wears their face and their garments and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared. The traitor is the plague." - Marcus Tullius Cicero, Roman Orator --- 106-43 B.C.

A last ditch, desperation stand by the woodpulp dinosaur media. They call this one wrong and, by 2008, market pressures and layoffs will have forced them to remake themselves and their editorial policies.

Into the tarpit of history, leftist MSM.

I e-mailed the original link to O'Reilly. It fits in with his Culture Warrior theme.

Well, I read a lot on line, but I
rarely tune in any channel other
than Fox News...to get both sides
of any issue.
The Dems repeatedly state that the
Bush Administration "refuses to talk
about the issues," leaving the Dems
out of all major conversations in
Congress. I have noticed two things.
1) The only plans they have for ending
the conflicts in the world is either PULL
OUT or SIT DOWN AND TALK. Last I took note
neither UBL, al Zwahari, nor the Taliban
Honchos had palavering over brunch in mind!
Obviously, not a course for VICtory which
is the only way to impress the enemy with
our determination.
2) My concern has been why it took the
Bush Admin so long to refuse to share
valuable info with some memebers of Congress!
How many times did crucial info end up being
splayed across the pages of the NYT
and benefitting the Terrorist groups?
But, I forget...we're the Lizard Brains
(as Arianna Huffington likes to call us
Repubs in her "elite" publication), with
supposedly NO ability to remember anything
beyond a month's headlines! Also, they
continually prate about how stupid GWB
is. Well, if he's so dull-witted, how
come every time they try to out-maneuver
him, THEY end up licking their wounds?!

The dinosaurs, having observed the irreversible climate change hastening their destruction, are truly panicking now, as evidenced by a herd mentality, willful blindness, and fear masquerading as anger.

It's also a habit of Durbin, Dean, Kennedy, Pelosi, etc. to insult our troops.

Okay Folks...the gloves are off!!Lets go get em!!!

Expect the Republicans to hit on the Kerry debacle, starting as early as this evening ... should be good. Know the 'Rats and their allies in the liberal MSM will go ballistic in their condemnation. The next few days are going to be interesting indeed.
