Having trouble getting pregnant _ book a procreation vacation
Fox Carolina ^ | 11/2/06 | Staff

MIAMI The latest trend in the travel industry is marketing to couples intent on starting a family and relaxing at the same time.

Hotels around the world are luring conception-minded couples by providing everything from onsite sex doctors to age-old fertility boosters promised to hasten the special day. Such getaways are being called Procreation Vacations.

Judy Randall of Randall Travel Marketing in Mooresville says it's about getting pregnant in style. She says it's about Generation Xers making a big moment out of creating their offspring and doing it in a memorable way.

Even some obstetricians are promoting the trend. Dr. Jason James of Miami says he often encourages fertility-challenged couples to sneak away for a few days, and he often sees it work.

Well straight couples that live in other states do still travel to San Francisco...so...there's some truth to it.

I'm going to Vegas next week for a convention and I'm bringing my wife. If we conceive, can I still write the kid off as a business expense?

"- he often sees it work".

Really! I've heard of physician oversight, but there is a limit.

Perhaps " - and he finds it often works".

Huh. All we needed was a night the eldest went to bed early and a bottle of wine...

Although my husband actually folding and putting away the clean clothes has been known to act as an aphrodesiac...

One week in Bermuda drinking Rum Swizzles and bingo....baby #2, who we had been trying for 6 years to conceive.
We had given up hope and spent every $ of our baby fund on that trip. I always laugh when I see the Disney commercial with the little girl calling her baby brother "mommy's little souvenir" because we have one of our own. lol

They used to call that a honey-moon. It sure changed since the old days. Heh.
