Shame on Him John Kerry picked the wrong people to insult.
BY RONALD R. GRIFFIN Friday, November 3, 2006 12:01 a.m. EST
I missed the joke. You must forgive me, for there just is not a lot of room in my life for even good jokes--and there is absolutely no room for "botched jokes"--when the subject of the joke is my son who was killed in Iraq. I know exactly what came out of Sen. John Kerry's mouth, and in those words there is no interpretation required. His attempt to convince us--and, I believe, to convince himself that that there was really a botched joke buried deep within his insult is in fact a reaffirmation of his ever-present condescending nature. He actually believes that we are stupid enough to agree with him and start laughing simply because he said it was a joke. Mr. Kerry said exactly what he meant and meant exactly what he said. In those words Mr. Kerry did in fact wash completely away the facade of his support of our magnificent troops and revealed for all to see his true colors.

Rest in peace, Kyle, Michael and Zack. We will not let Jack Murtha and John Kerry rest.
Here Here to FR and the stalwart people who write here with care about the freedom we cherish. Kerry is the face of the Democrat Party, and we must put that out there loud and clear. There was no joke folks, he was talking to STUDENTS when he said this and we all know he meant what he said from the deep anger within him. Kerry is a 60's retread and never got over the anti war movement he started and kept going during and after Viet Nam. We must not let that happen again. VOTE
Reid, Pelosi Rally to Defend Kerry
Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi wrote President Bush encouraging him to act immediately to reverse the decline in our militarys readiness. As Senator Kerry has so incisively pointed out, the U.S. military is the repository of our societys losers, the two wrote. The combination of a slumping economy and a failed education system has left too many poor and minorities with too few options. Opportunistic Army recruiters are sweeping these unfortunates into military service where they serve as cannon fodder for Bushs imperialistic ambitions in Iraq.
Reid said he was inspired to write this letter because The Republicans are trying to make a big issue out of Kerrys advice to students. His intent was to urge students to do well in school so they wouldnt flunk out, lose their student deferments and get shipped to Iraq. He was just trying to use this unpleasant reality to help motivate them to study hard.
Senator John Kerry (D-Mass) has faced widespread criticism for a speech in California where he asserted that only morons and losers end up in the Army.

Kerry meant what he said and said what he meant.
Thank you for posting this, it's a must read.
Senator John Kerry (D-Mass) has faced widespread criticism for a speech in California where he asserted that only morons and losers end up in the Army.If this were what Kerry actually said, he'd have been forced to resign. What's with the quotes?
AMEN. God Bless those three hero's.
Our warriors fighting and being wounded and dying for us should not be the butt of jokes or be defamed as these two elected officials have done. Their day of judgment is coming.
Everybody is America must know soldiers or vets. I don't see how dissing them can work.
This is worse than Kerry's insult.
Too bad he did it after voting ballots from the military overseas were due.
Right on!!
Marine Bump!
Never forget, Kerry perjured American GI's in 1971 and he continues to slander them to this day.
Semper Fi,

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid sound the retreat while dragging Jon Carry behind. Yes, the Elephants are charging!
BTTT!
John Forbes Kerry is the embodiment of the liberal mindset from 35-40 years ago.
These are the same people who spat on our soldiers returning from Vietnam.
These are the same people that, when in positions of responsibility in the Carter Administration, used our armed forces as a laboratory for their social experiments.
These are the same people who called me "baby-killer" and "sell-out", when they learned I had accepted an Army ROTC scholarship in April '72.
These are the same people who now say "they support our troops, but are against the war in Iraq".
BULL$HIT!!!
BTW, I voted last night. I had to hold my nose on a couple (like Rick Perry), but it was worth it.
