To millions of Americans, he's the face of evil; the only man convicted for the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
For five years, we've seen a still picture of Zacarias Moussaoui, but WNBC.com's Jonathan Dienst has obtained the only known video of the man found to be responsible for the thousands of deaths.
The video was shot as Moussaoui was being transferred to Supermax, a maximum-security prison in Colorado, where he will serve out his sentence of six life terms without the chance of parole.
He was combative in the tape, calling out "allah akbar," which translates to "God is great."
He has been combative since his capture.
At his sentencing, when U.S. Judge Leonie Brinkema sent Moussaoui to prison for life to “die with a whimper,” the convicted terrorist declared: “God save Osama bin Laden -- you will never get him.”
A jury rejected the government’s case to have Moussaoui executed, deciding instead to send him to prison for life without a chance of parole.
Not all jurors were convinced that Moussaoui, who was in jail on immigration charges Sept. 11, 2001, had a significant part in the attacks, despite his boastful claims that he did.
I saw a Discovery Channel show about the Supermax. His life is going to suck there..

It will totally suck, but not as much as he really deserves. Even a cell in Supermax is better than he deserves - I'd chain him to the toilet and let him live out his pathetic days eating and voiding over the smelly appliance. Give him a 3 foot tether as the beast he is.....
He'll be his own cellmate in the Supermax...he may end up pulling his own teeth!
Somebody oughta take this POS up in an airplane and accidentally set him on fire and kick him out the door.
When I first heard the verdict I was upset, as I'd hoped he'd get the death sentence, but from all I've read and heard about Supermax, he's in a "fate worse than death" situation.
I wish they'd've put him in general population...

Why reward him with a daily reminder of where he came from? I spent a year and a half in the middle east just over fifty years ago, and I can still smell it.
Yeah, I understand that one of Islams biggest recruiting tools in the US is our prison system..
