Other then my visits to this website (5 times a day)and the MSM socialist promoters who bang away at the angry republicans who are not voting BS, I've not heard a single local republican even mention the subject.

It's a bunch of Bull Shiite created by the MSM. If we lose its because we lost some of the Reagan Democrats and 911 Democrats. I firmly believe that that loss was from this constant negative mantra from the WSM left that went unanswered until October.

I know this as these Democrats are some family and a couple of friends. MSM talking points are all they parrot. War on terror is lost and Republicans are corrupted by power and especially oil money.

The way I see this is.... if the dims win on Tuesday, we will have lost the WOT.

As a Country, we will have surrendered to the enemy and having done so, we should bring our Troops home immediately, as we are going to need them on our own streets.

Additionally...no Troop, not a single one, should lose their life under the leadership of these Traitors.

We can thank the dims, MSM, those that refused to support President Bush in his battle to hold onto power. You know who you are, all it would have taken was getting off your pompous a$$ and voting - even if you had to hold your nose - just like I had to. We can also thank the other cowards of this Country, for causing us to lose our first world wide War. It was not our president, his leaders, or our Troops that lost to the terrorist. Instead, it will have been the bowels of our own ignorant and gutless society that will have brought us to our knees.

I enlisted in the US Army at 17 1/2 in 1966...my brothers needed a hand. Please don't make our Troops of today live with the spit and hate that so many of our brothers had to endure. Don't shame them like so many did to the memory 58,000 Troops that didn't get to come home. You say you will NEVER FORGET.... well, some of us never did.

This is the one time in my life that I want to be wrong...I want to slap my head after election day and call myself stupid. I want you to insult me next week for what I was thinking and I want to have to apologize to you. But if I am not wrong, the Country that we SAY we love..... is toast.

We will see our economy plunge. We will see our quality of life drop to near bottom. We will see our Military gutted. We will see our own blood on our streets. We will have failed our children and our grandchildren.

We will have broken a solemn promise to all of those that gifted us with freedom through all Wars, by making the ultimate sacrifice. You said that you would NEVER FORGET. We WILL have forgotten our promise to them...... and we will know who to thank for all of the bad that will come to ourselves. Frankly, other than the children. we just may deserve what we get.

You have not been asked to spill your blood, you have not been asked for a single dollar or to give up a day of fishing. You have not been asked to give even an hour of your time. You have not been asked to sacrifice a moment of sitting with your Bride along a beautiful creek on a warm summers day.

One vote, yours....that's all it would have taken.

This vote is a vote for the survival of this country.

Is there anyone who actually believes this melodramatic nonsense? I mean aside from the egotistical Republicrats in DC who think the world turns at their command.

Barry Goldwater is turning in his grave...the Conservative movement has been highjacked by the religious right. Where are your principles of smaller government, lower taxes (for all American's) and Ronald Reagan's hope for the future? I dare say that it is the Republican Party that is in flux, it is in the midst of an identity crisis that is amazing to watch. I have expressed no hatred to your party and i have nothing but the utmost respect for Reagan, Goldwater, Adams, and Bush 41. I guess Republicans should be asking themselves, how did this happen?
It is amazing to watch how much hatred the Conservative Party harbors!!...let's see...based on the things you said that the Democrats will impose on you, you must be afraid of gays, terrorists, abortionists, liberal judges (name one on the Supreme Court..and no, Ginsberg is not liberal, she is moderate), illegal immigrants, "liberal" college professors, and Democrats..that does not leave much room for what you are not afraid of, or for what you love...

Republicans that "stay at home" on election day, or vote rat, or 3rd party are no different than moonbats like Cindy Sheehan inside of the voting booth, because at the end of the day, they have accomplished the same thing... they put a socialist democrap into office.

I vote for conservatives. There aren't any conservatives running for office. The so-called Republicans are all RINOs. Therefore, I won't be voting.

This is for Republicans who have decided not to vote

-- or just avoid thinking about it, which is the SAME as deciding not to vote.

May I suggest you join me in copying one or both of the following and emailing them to absolutely everyone you can -- and ask them to do the same :

http://freedomkeys.com/2003taxcuts.htm

http://freedomkeys.com/demsondefense-excerpts.htm

They have more to do with the congressional and Senate races than state and local ones, but it WILL help get otherwise unmotivated Republicans to actually get off their butts and GET OUT AND VOTE !!!

Also, be creative: find the email addresses of the officers, staff and members of various clubs and Chambers of Commerce in the towns around you and the areas you're most concerned about.

>>This is for Republicans who have decided not to vote or to vote for a democrat, I have a few things for you to think about.<<

Talking to people offline I get the impression that the number of Repubican voters who "have decided" not to vote or to vote Dem is very small.

What I do see is some apathy that may lower turnout.

Disclaimer: I'm from Georgia where we have a popular and skilled Republican governor up for reelection so my results may not be typical.

The consequences of not voting or voting for a democrat are enormous for this country.

This is a statement worth repeating!! The vilest and craziest democrats are the ones in leadership and they will be setting the agenda, not the conservative democrats that they have set up in your area to make them more palatable.

Don't let you anger cloud out the long term picture. You may be angry with the Republicans for not meeting your expectations, but to paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld, you have to fight with the army you've got, not the one you wish you had. The future is at stake, the future of you children, the future of our great military, our way of life, and our freedoms. Our future generations will ask the question why you sat this one out, so they do not enjoy the same freedoms and quality of life that you have.

Finally for our military who are fighting a tough war, you have to give the kind of political leadership that they deserve. I was recently surfing the channels on my TV and caught part of a movie "A few good men" (Demi Moore and Tom Cruise). One of the lines that caught my attention was to a question Demi's character is asked "Why do you like them so much" (referring to the two soldiers she is defending). She replies "Because they stand on the wall, and promise (and I'm paraphrasing here) that 'during my watch nothing is going to happen to you'." Ladies and Gentlemen we have to give our soldiers the leadership that does not disparage and mock them, and make their sacrifices to nothing.

Folks our choice is clear, the free world is at stake.

Spot on. Well said.

Conservatives Will Regret Putting Dems in Power

"Republicans have good reasons to be disappointed in their Congressmen, especially with their runaway spending and amnesty bill for illegal aliens. However, before Republican voters decide to stay home at the next election, or perhaps to vote for the Democrats, they might repeat one phrase to themselves: 'Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi'."

-- Thomas Sowell, Random Thoughts, August 29, 2006

"The only way America will ever be defeated by death-worshipping theocrats who've crawled out from under a Dark Ages rock is with the help of the mullahs' fifth column - academia, the media, the judiciary, public education, Hollywood and the Democratic Party.

Of the two suicide cults America confronts, liberalism is by far the more lethal."

-- Don Feder, In The War On Terror, Liberals Are More Dangerous Than Muslims -- A 9/11 meditation, September 19, 2006

I'm ticked at voters in WA State who refused to vote because they had to pick a party for the primary. Oh big boo hoo.

Nice move guys, the conservative judges went down in flames while we got more lefties. Full of rectitude, you are now heading off to vote in the general election on initiatives we wouldn't have had to run if we had conservative judges in the first place.

Some vital initiatives won't pass, some will pass but be overturned by the lefties judges YOU elected because you stubbornly refused to pick a party and vote.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face! Next time get a clue.

I understand where you are coming from, but if he Republican party loses the House on Tuesday, I hope there will some honest soul-searching here in the Free Republic.

I know lots of Republicans so disgusted by the present state of the party that they aren't voting. (I haven't met ANY disgusted Republican that is switching parties, though.)

These are not the hard-core base - the true believers, but the lukewarm types that are very results-oriented about how they vote. They think, did the party deliver on what I expected? To many, the answer is no.

(They aren't bothered by the scandals, because they are realistic and know those, disappointing though they may be, are just part of the terrain in politics. )

That's why it will be about turnout, can the machine get these lukewarm-types to the polls. Once there, they will not vote Democratic. But there's a real good chance they will stay home.

They need to remember that they also need to vote in primaries - At the primary, you vote for the person, at the election you vote for the party.
