Republicans who don't vote

This is for Republicans who have decided not to vote or to vote for a democrat, I have a few things for you to think about.

While a number of us are angry with the Republicans because they have not done many tings we wanted them to do we still need to vote. Yes, we hold the majority, but the democrats and few RHINO’S have continually thrown road blocks in our way.

The consequences of not voting or voting for a democrat are enormous for this country. The next two years will consist of hearings, higher taxes and the loss of the war. This vote is a vote for the survival of this country.

Yes, we have had a few Republicans who have broken the law or acted immorally but we have gotten rid of them and the country is better for it. Democrats on the other hand, hang on to their crooks and immoral people. If democrats regain power, they will pass their immoral agenda into law and we will ALL have to live under those laws which in the long run will destroy this country. Their agenda consists of gay marriage, more liberal judges, keeping abortion on demand, empowering terrorists because of their cut and run attitude, giving terrorists American rights in our courts and they will do nothing to stop the illegal aliens from entering this country. We will be under the thumb of the UN, the most corrupt organization the world next to the democrat party. They want to remove (with to cooperation of the ACLU) God from every aspect of American life because they want no limits on behavior. They believe they know more than God. These are just a few tings they will set out to accomplish. In short, they want us to live under socialism.

The left in this country has brought us political correctness and moral relativism. They have done everything possible to make us loose the war on terrorism. Weather out of fear or stupidity, they think you can negotiate with people whose objectives are to kill us or turn us into Muslims. Instead of being united with those who wish to win this war, they sought to divide us thus empowering themselves and the terrorists.

So, to those Republicans who have decided not vote to keep democrats OUT of power or to vote for a democrat, keep this in mine. When you walk into that voting booth, you will be taking a terrorist in to vote with you. If you are paying attention to the Arab press, they are encouraging Americans to vote democrat. IT’S UP TO YOU.

Is there anyone who actually believes this melodramatic nonsense?

Ahh -- another guy who's memories don't go back as far as 9/11! It's OK, someday in the near future, as he falls to the earth after the building he had been standing on was destroyed, he can contemplate how melodramatic his situation will be. Hopefully it will entertain him before he splatters to earth.

I'm ticked at voters in WA State who refused to vote because they had to pick a party for the primary. Oh big boo hoo.

Nice move guys, the conservative judges went down in flames while we got more lefties. Full of rectitude, you are now heading off to vote in the general election on initiatives we wouldn't have had to run if we had conservative judges in the first place.

Some vital initiatives won't pass, some will pass but be overturned by the lefties judges YOU elected because you stubbornly refused to pick a party and vote.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face! Next time get a clue.

I understand where you are coming from, but if he Republican party loses the House on Tuesday, I hope there will some honest soul-searching here in the Free Republic.

I know lots of Republicans so disgusted by the present state of the party that they aren't voting. (I haven't met ANY disgusted Republican that is switching parties, though.)

These are not the hard-core base - the true believers, but the lukewarm types that are very results-oriented about how they vote. They think, did the party deliver on what I expected? To many, the answer is no.

(They aren't bothered by the scandals, because they are realistic and know those, disappointing though they may be, are just part of the terrain in politics. )

That's why it will be about turnout, can the machine get these lukewarm-types to the polls. Once there, they will not vote Democratic. But there's a real good chance they will stay home.

They need to remember that they also need to vote in primaries - At the primary, you vote for the person, at the election you vote for the party.
