Im a marine and im tired of people talking about things they dont know they think the war in iraq is just us killing people and i know theres alot more going on than people think ive been there and not only do we kill we help i mean medical food and rebuilding and theres alot of people who appreciate what we do and i will go back when its my turn with no problem im proud of what i do and trust me its not that easy im a communication marine i go on patrols and do other things and if u think its easy u r outta your mind just try to live in boots for a day

But I think until the U.S. is a lot less squeamish about killing people we will never win a war again.

We’ve also got to abandon the pretense that when we go to war with another country, it’s for their own good. Any benefits that flow to the inhabitants is purely incidental to furthering the interests of the United States.

The problem in Iraq, imho, isn’t that we’ve killed too many people or the wrong people, but that we are too squeamish. There was a war, we won, they lost. Tough cheese. We’re making the rules. No wonder Iraq is in turmoil; we act like a bunch of missionaries instead of warriors.
