I know it has already been posted but Saddam can not be hanged enough times for all of his crimes.

The appeals process has been part of Iraqi law even under Hussein; he just chose to ignore it. That is not accurate. This judicial system is brand new & totally restructured. There were no such rights under Saddam and any purported "right to appeal" was a farce.

one of the commentators was lamenting the possibility that people might celebrate afterwards. "It's quite common after such (post liberation) events for people to go out and shoot their guns, and this could be quite dangerous for the people and lead to more deaths" ... so I think that will be the lead.
